@@Ephraim-ky5be Basically the show follows no rules, and there's really no rhyme or reason to anything on it.
Some refer to The Eric Andre Show as absurdist or existentialist comedy, because it takes all the norms of talk shows (TV in general I guess), human interaction, and sometimes even society as a whole and it throws them out the window. What this turns into is comedy that is entirely unpredictable, other than the fact that it's going to be seemingly meaningless. Essentially the show is just poking fun at what we consider to be normal and socially acceptable.
The reason it might be confusing to some is that it's an outright rejection of social construct. Read into Existentialism, Absurdism, and Nihilism and this show will make a lot more sense.

I literally played back 1:30 at least 6 times cause it was so perfect and beautiful. It really shows how Eric like many of us is sometimes stopped by obstacles in our life. But like when you go back to see what happened all that's left is a realization that nothing was stopping you but yourself. It touched my heart that eric would bring out such a tender side to show us that even in his perfection he still has flaws.
