Literally as he started talking about it, i saw the error in ghub that it wasnt drawing enough power/ Mind you theyre both plugged into a sabrent usb 3.1, 16 port hub with dedicated power, and I'm still getting that message. Luckily these lights are for my closer up videos and shots, so not the biggest deal, but still logitech, what the hell
One thing that annoys me is that there's no monitor-mount option. I have a multi-monitor situation where they're both on a multi-monitor desk mount. All my cables run through the monitor arms, very well organized, I don't want this extra stand to take up desk space and route cables for. My big use case for the LX isn't "mood light", but "free/busy" - my desk faces so that the back of my displays face the (glass) door to my home office. I have a little Luxafor USB flag for free/busy, which "works" but it's tiny and hard for the family to see. I just want this as key light flat across the top of my monitor with my Logitech Brio camera next to it, with my older Litra Glow on the other side.
I was able to get to about 60% brightness with the Litrabeam while plugged into a 5W power source, and 100% with a 60W power source. So I think as long as you have like 10W, you can max it out. I also had no issues with bluetooth when connecting it to Logi Options and G Hub. Strange how it gave you so many issues.
I just got the Litra Beam today. RGB is cool, but I only need the white for my needs, and it was $70 cheaper than LX. I also have the 75% brightness max issue when plugged into my dock. When I plug it directly into my laptop, I get 100%. I did have to provide my own usb-a to usb-c adapter, which sucks. Ultimately, I plugged it into a usb power adapter to get 100% brightness and free up my ports. I don't have the Bluetooth issue, and was able to connect to my laptop and control it from the Options+ program. If I was having the Bluetooth issue described here, I would exchange it. Yes, the USB cable is short, but I'm able to get the length I need using an extension cord with my USB power adapter.

I’m thinking about getting one to put on a boom arm since there are tripod inserts

For syncing multiple lights you create a preset and set it to G buttons on Logi keyboard like a macro.
