I’m pretty critical of current fashion trends and everything it but I love how the empire line was hiked up and created more dramatic allure towards the bust being half and her makeup and hair were so 90s grunge perfection. The zipper on Greta Lee’s dress is just Forever 21 levels of sad. For JLo I feel if instead of a nude brief (with visible waistband 😒) there’d been a nude bodysuit built into the dress it would have helped it to flow.
That color deep red reads to me as oxblood red. Oh, someone at Gucci needs to understand how an underpants is supposed to fit. Why did J Lo have on what look like Spanx briefs she took out of her drawer? Maybe because the Gucci ones looked like a bad fitting 7 yr olds dance costume from a tap recital. That's what the mint/black looked like. Of course that also included the world's first visible invisible zipper. I don't even know how you do that. Another woman had those I'll fitting panty moment too, I've already forgotten because all of this was very forgettable... thankfully.

J Lo’s visible panty is the part I don’t like, it creates a color break in her middle and ruins the flow of the lace. I think they could have built in a body suit that would have been virtually invisible and made the lace flow better from the silk.
I love Yara Shahidi's style. She isn't following any trends nor is she following someone else. She is a risk taker. She looks like Vanity, Lisa Bonet, and Sade hybrid. But lately her style has been lackluster on and off. I don't know what Jason Bolden is doing to her style. There is times I said to my head, "she needs a new stylist". I am also hoping she isn't styling herself sometimes and let Jason Bolden to do all the work.
I feel like lupita’s dress works with the body suit much better than Greta Lee’s dress did. Greta Lee looked so good in it but the black lace at the button wasn’t in the right spot with the body suit. Which I wouldnt have noticed without this review :)
