I love a parkrun with lots of people passing so looked great. I love Lincoln, defo worth a visit at Christmas for the market, which is magical - thanks for sharing.
Talk about a PB worthy course -- flat as a pancake -- although it looks like it would be a bit of a challenge for the front runners on a crowded route like that. Also thank you for the tour of Lincoln -- I always figured that was a US name. Always cool when you see what a village like that would've looked like back in its heyday. I also like how the weather changed from dreary to almost summer-like. I did a 5K along the shores of Utah Lake -- what a beautiful morning. I went back and ran most of the course afterwards to get some photos and I was thinking -- I bet Nicola would absolutely love the views. We are at 4500 feet though -- so definitely more challenging -- what I wouldn't give to run at sea level again. Cool video and I always love watching your running adventures.
Thanks Eddie, yes the weather was perfect! Cool for running and then glorious for exploring 😍 Oh wow the 5km sounds gorgeous 😍 I would absolutely love it, you're right! 😃
@@JasonCliftJones oh wow! Yeah it's a great course for seeing the front runners, I wonder if they love that or whether they get annoyed with all of the overtaking 🤔
Cracking video Nicola. You have significantly more restraint than me - I'd have been straight on that athetics track doing my best 'Chariots Of Fire' routine 😂
Thanks, I hadn't run for 10 days (other than a mile for my run streak as I was resting and injury to the opposite ankle 🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤣) so it seems unlikely it was running related 🙃
Thanks 😊 You get used to it, we ran Cairns parkrun in your summer and had exactly the same feeling about how I earth you guys do this on a regular basis! 😳☀️🤣
loved this video and i hope your ankle gets better very soon think i will be very stiff on sunday evening after spen 20 i will get round that course what ever it takes then call at Holmfirth on way home Hollowgate chippy
You said “a collection of parkrunners” which got me thinking- what is the actual collective noun? An arbitrary of parkrunners? A dunsmore? A faffle? An apricot?
Maybe, if heel is unhappy you could do a different challenge.. 5 things spelling out Poppys name.. So P obvs a parkrun, o.. Hmmm I reckon you could come up with something fun ? Xx hopefully you will be recovered but there is always a fun alternative xxxx

Lincoln is a cathedral city, not a village 😂. It's the county town of Lincolnshire, which is one of the UK'S largest counties.

Def a PB course. I ran a sub-24 on my visit, and still got lapped!
@@NicolaRuns I posted a bunch of photos to Strava of the lake and course. Still some snow at the top.

🤣🤣🤣 I must admit it was VERY tempting! 😂
When the cathedral had its 3 spires, it was the tallest building in the world for 200 years.
Wow, that's awesome! And yet I still didn't know Lincoln was so incredibly beautiful?! How?!?! 😳🤷🏻♀️
What a great video of great landmark and uncommon letters but it shows an amazing course and how do you know so many
Thanks Bertie ☺️ I'm not sure what you mean about how do you know so many?
@@NicolaRuns how do you know so many people how did you meet them

Wishing you a speedy heel recovery, in the annals of my mind I seem to remember you are a fellow heel striker??? Is that signicant? Xxxxx

Next time you’re in Lincoln, try Ole Ole, next door to Stokes. They do the best tapas food!
Awesome thanks! Will do! Might stay over in the van 😃
