Great idea. Only 2 things holding me back from purchasing. The clasp looks huge, would need to be shorter in length, if not narrower too. Also, it would be great to have the option to pick 5 colours rather than choose a pre-defined set.
Nice to see some innovation but what exactly is the advantage of the OctoPod system? People wear nato/zulu straps for lightweight and comfort. The clasp looks gigantic. It would seem to defeat the purpose.
if you have man arms, the clasp looks great! I often see men with thin arms and 45 watches, always looks as if they have tied a 5kg dumbbell on themselves.
Fear not So-Ko, the wrist size in the video is 6.5 inch, and it's very comfortable to wear, but thanks for taking the time to leave your comment it is helpful to know this.
Would definetly buy it if the clasp wasn't that big. Too big for my wrist. So sticking to my 16 euro elastic nato that seems to be from the same factory, as the strap is identical, just with holes in it
Looking good but the clasp is too big that's the only thing that's keeping me from buying. Like what others suggested, a choice of combination will be a good option too.
I had ordered 1 set (one OctoPod clasp with bands) of the new strap system. Strongly suggest that you don't waste your money on a multi-band kit. Setting up the strap with clasp takes too much time. I purchased the multi-pack as the "given feeling" was that the setting up was quick and simple. NO NO NO. Takes too much time. Just buy 1 clasp and 1 strap.
For people that think the clasp maybe a little “big”. This was last shown on a BB GMT. 22mm lug width. So the Non-tapering nato probably sits about 23-24mm (I’m guessing). But I said all that to say form follows function. This strap is for people that doing something rough and you might need a robust watch strap while doing that activity. Could it be small? Sure.
@@Professional_RUclips_Commenter Ferrari is a better car than ford…but it’s different. So what’s your point? If someone wanted a French national then they would be looking at/for that. Sooooo……????
It's a shame it's so expensive. I can bet my left thumb someone will produce the same clasp for less than $30. Otherwise it looks really good, I'd just want to see it in line with other similar straps considering you can get a very similar strap without the clasp contraption for $10 and maybe less.
Depends a lot on the Materials and finishing technique used but I agree, some one is so going to rip that design off :) Thay should think about a cheap alternative in their line up.
I just bought it. HOWEVER, there is an issue. The clasp closes and locks easily when it's NOT on your wrist, not the case when you put it on. Problem is the clasp locking pin is at the center of the wrist, where the body tissue is soft. As a result, closing and locking of the clasp on the wrist is not consistent. There has been a few times the clasps just pops open on my wrist in the beginning. I had to get use to closing the clasp harder and check to ensure pushing one of the unlock button wouldn't unlock it.
Nice to see some innovation in straps ! Clasp does seem really large
I think it would be smart to include links to buy in the description and in your About section as well. Convert these views to sales man!

Narrower cant be done or do you want a tapering nato?
Saw. In awe. Bought.
Perfect for my new FXD
Great to hear Richard, thank you!
This is what I was looking for 3 years ago omg finally.
Brillant Ak, your wait is over!
Love the design and the look but a bit concerned about the size of the clasp.
Maybe I should purchase one and try it out. 😎
just received mine.......very fiddly to install but looks are great! Also very comfortable! Recommend!
Glad you like it Dan!
Very interesting try and get the watch guys, Jody, Peter kofta, and the other to review it

That clasp is awesome. Well done.
I put my Tudor BB on it wears awesome, perfect fit
will this fit large wrist sizes? Mine is 8.5 inches.
I really like it, that’s cool
you guys should invest in making tapered natos now, 22mm at the watch and 20mm octopod.
The clasp has more bulk than many watches...a complicated solution for a simple problem.
After so many comments about the size, surely it would be easy to state the dimensions?
I think this looks fantastic...but also worry that the clasp might be a bit long for my sub 7 inch wrist. Otherwise, love it! Very sharp!

@@ZULUDIVER Well then...think I'm in!
@@ZULUDIVERmaybe use someone with a bigger wrist to demo, will make the clasp look more manageable
My friend let me wear his this last weekend. Very comfortable. I plan to buy both a 22MM and 20MM. (Once a get a discount code)
These are sick.
Thank you!
Very nice piece of kit if a little pricey that clasp looks awesome 😎
1:59 looks like your seiko PADI is running out of battery over there!
Jokes aside, looks awesome, will definitely consider.
He he, thanks for spotting our Easter egg Wubba, I'm glad you like it!
This is something I was looking for! But is it possible to make the buckle smaller?

Superb !!!
Definitely need to link your site in the description.
Thanks for the advice Edward we have updated the description visit www.zuludiver.com/collections/octopod
Very interesting! Would love to get one to try it out!!
Nice thinking, the clasps on watches need a redesign, there is definitely room for improvement, but that looks too bulky.
I want it that way! My watch is big, too.
How do I get my hands on one? I’d love to review it
Whoaa boy .. that clasp is wayyy too big O_O. On a 22mm strap, that clasp looks like 1.5mm on each side for a total of 25 mm. It's crazy.
Include your website in the descriptions of the videos and in the “about” tab for your YT channel
Thanks for the advice Jonathan, updated 👍 😀
This looks amazing, are there any plans to release an all-black PVD version?
If you release a black version I am in.
It's on it's way, very soon yangerang!
@@ZULUDIVER awesome looking forward to it!!!
PVD (IP) Black version now available!

@@ZULUDIVER Thanks for letting me know! It looks amazing!!!
FYI Both Zulu and NATO are trademarked names for that style of watchband
Why did it take this long for this to come out. Take my money...
Thank Andy! Great to get feedback!
Great idea but waaaaaay too big. Seems like it could lose 2 - 3 mm's in depth. If that ever happens, I'd look at purchasing one.
Great concept but the clasp looks too long to be comfortable
It does look very long. Might only be thing for chunky watches :)
Lovely but would be 100% bettter without branding!
Very cool!
Clasp is too large but thoughtful design. Rather have a pin buckle than a bulky clasp.
I'll stick with a nice clean simple nato
It's called a deployant, not a deployment.

the french marine nationale is a better solution.

Coupon code, please.
The desk divers like me could find that clasp to be a bit chunky...
Great idea. Feel free to send me a few to review please
I think the guy’s wrist looked really small. The clasp is the perfect size to balance the weight of a watch head.
The wrist size in the video is 6.5 inch FYI, and yes, it's a good balance weight for the watch, thanks for leaving the comment Ted's Music!
Hi can this work with a Galaxy watch4 classic 46mm ? Thank you.
Only 20 and 22mm lug width.
I think that smart watch has sensors on the back so it wouldn't work best with your watch, sorry, but glad you like it.

IT'S HUGE ! Plus, you still have the extra height due to the strap running underneath. No thank you. Sorry, no offence intended.
Where can i purchase this?
Hi Carl here is a link to our OctoPod range thanks! www.zuludiver.com/collections/octopod

Nylon straps on a luxury watch is like putting cheap tires on a Lambo
Damn. I’m getting one!
Thank you spektr222!
Just looks unnecessary, hard to swap over and hard to adjust.
Giant clasp
la boucle est troooop presente 😢
il faut absolument quils fassent une version fermoir plus discrete
Too much threading/clasp too big.
Lose the tunes, then maybe I'll come back!
