    I'm a new subscriber, and I'm binge watching your Summer Running Videos. I run every day, but you're Videos are inspiring me to plan on upping my mileage, of course a little at a time, each week. Also, I need to add additional workouts to my running. Thanks for sharing your days of running, workouts, meals, and that ice pack is a great idea for me, too. Your content is really, kool!

    Really relaxing and chill one this week, thoroughly enjoyed it while eating dinner, was perfect for winding down. Also really loved the increase in food clips this week, a welcomed addition 😊AC situation sucks, so awesome to have it got fixed, I 100% agree that a hot room is horrible, especially for sleeping in. The progression in the videos are also so nice to see, of course combined with the usual great quality, so keep em comin' 😁🔥

      @@LukeTalbot3 What I got from this one after a break is that there's this beautiful essence of running you've managed to put across. Not just the training schedule, food etc. What I get with this is the routine. The ritual, the habits. I was watching this and thinking, hey he's filming the same stuff, but that's exactly the running ethos to me. We get up, we do our own particular version of the pre-run dance. A ballet of pre-fuel, stretch, coffee, yawn, dress. Often a dance performed without thought or consideration. It's simply what we do before we run. Maybe it's left sock, right sock, left shoe, right shoe. Maybe it's coffee from a particular mug. Maybe it's the same pre-run playlist. Touching a certain photo or object before we leave. These are the things that tell out bodies and probably mostly our minds, that we're headed out.
      It's the routine that let's the small changes in, the ones that over time add up, they add up to faster times, easier miles, stronger minds and healthier bodies.
      Beautiful.

      I appreciate it, it’s very rinse and repeat, but like you said, that’s just the way running is. Only way to get better is consistency!

    Do you ever go out and do anything fun? Seems like a lot of monotony for such a young guy! Also, why the upside down watch?

    • @LukeTalbot3
      @LukeTalbot3  28 дней назад +4

      You know, it might be monotonous, but I really do enjoy running and some of the best expereinces I've had have come through running. As cool as it might be to travel and and go out with friends, I personally feel more accomplished when I'm dialed into my running program. That being said, if I had the money I probably would travel to do training camps at altitude! As per the flipped watch, I wear it on my wrist just because I feel like the heart rate data is a little bit more accurate like that (I actually kinda hate it haha).
