Yeah, Cherubim are actually a thing in 40k, although they're a tiny bit less disturbing once you read the lore behind them. Basically, they're a utility servitor (nonsentient cyborg assistant) capable of flight used like carrier pigeons. Unlike most servitors which are generally lobotimized criminals, Cherubim are actually vat-grown specifically to retain an infant-like appearance throughout the lifespan of their biological components.
The "two Alfa Legionaires" are actually two of the Blood Ravens. The one with more gold and arguing that scones are sandwhiches is Captain Indrick Boreale, the commander of the Blood Ravens in Soulstorm, known for his memetically bad voice acting and in universe for being a complete failure during his campaign. The other Blood Raven is Captain Apollo Diomedes, former head of the Blood Raven Honor Guard turned rebel against the chaos corrupted Chapter Master, canonically helping take him down and installing Gabriel Angelos in his place. They're being "voiced" by Alfa creatively editing their voice lines from their games - Diomedes has plenty of room for this as a result due to being in Dawn of War 2: Chaos Rising and Dawn of War 2: Retribution. Fun fact, the Blood Ravens are HEAVILY implied to be Thousand Son successors, so Magnus was literally just grabbing two of his sons.

Yeah, he's deleted. Same delete button the Emps used on Horus.
"You don't put butter and cheese on cakes"
Me: No Bake Cheesecake.
8:36 The Dark Machinicus Priest saying that line becomes even better when you realize that the machine he is working is a Khornate Daemon Engine called the Lord of Skulls. It has a bit of a reputation due to the... interesting placement of its cannon. Look it up and you will under stand.
"I Lord Adorable... For the First Time Ever Am Tired, No Matter How Long I Fortify My Stamina By Running Around The Palace, YET I Am Very Tired... Note To Self Apply All Of Tera For My Fortification Of Sanity is VERY Important..."
Action Man the greatest hero of them all!
Man, Airier MUST play the Dawn of War games and see all the Boreale and Diomedes memes xD He's missing out on so much!
Hah, Slaughter is ACTION MAN, THE GREATEST HERO OF THEM ALL!
Regicide is basicly 40k chess
This is embarrassing to say but I finally get the "What was she thinking" line
My theory is that the Normy is a perpetual. Which would explain why he is still alive.
I think I've heard that one a few other places before. And honestly, it makes sense.
The "you sound like a screaming rat" is a reference to (Slaaneshmas is Over) video where Zegrem the voice for Magnus plays the warhammer fantasy chaos god The Great Horned Rat. You should watch it.
Or the fact that pigeons (bird) are known as flying rats.
Is there such as a thing as a Custodian librarian, that's probably the only thing that could handle the Emperors essence, unless they use Karamazov maybe. Regicide=chess, I think. Also this episode has put the idea of imperial fist orks into my head.
My one problem with Magnus' logic with assassination of Kurze is he say it coming and invited the assassin in and let it happen. I feel if Kurze wanted to continue he would still be around. Plus i think 40k theories has a video on this particular matter.
So about the bike thing they way the rules are set up and the units themselves the best custodies units to use against the mechanicus are bike mounted units also I believe someone on the original video pointed out that Kittens army is the worst possible set up to take against the Mechanicus.
31:55 that's a reference to ACTION MAN GREATEST HERO OF THEM ALL.
They needee bikes so Kitten can duel Fabricator General on bikes.
19:04 Well, he DID say he was turning into Link back during Short 1, so that seems quite poetic.
Oh boy, reaction videos..I miss 2003
The years comment by big E is a reference to how long it took for the last 2 episodes to make.
Wait, it took him that long? Wow, I'm even more glad i just found out about the series now. The wait would have killed me otherwise.
@@Airier I think it's the time between 25 and part 2 of 26, but yeah.
Uh... yeah, the Emperor deleted a Custodes. That was honestly, genuinely terrifying to see the first time.
That's what I thought at first too. But the second time around, I thought it looked too similar to what Magnus did to the Inquisition when he threw them into the warp.
I'm expecting that guy to pop up again four years from now when episode 28 comes out.
@@Airier I'm not. The Emperor CLEARLY had enough of his shit. It'd be a fun surprise if he does come back, but I don't think he will.
Regicide is a chess variant and/or video game on steam.
28:44 that reminds me, Happy Great Horned Rat Day! *cough cough wheeze*
[I'M SO SORRY]
AKA Zegrim Dying Montage
The Ork War-Moons (yes plural) are canon, its part of the 32 Millenium War of Beast
The Novel also shows how the once rational Empire slipped into the Religious Police State we know form 40K Canon
At witch Point of Time you will React to The new Part of If The Emporor had a Podcast.
2 weeks probably
Airier if you want the reference for sounding like a rat go on youtube for Great Horned Rat day or Slaaneshmas is over. Magnus's voice actor annoyed Alfa into making a script for the Great Horned Rat stealing Slaaneshmas for his own holiday. (The joke being in Age of Sigmar people thought that the great horned rat replaced Slaanesh) and the GHR is voiced by Magnus.
I literally just got the santodes joke
Fun fact: I have eaten a breakfast sandwich were the bread was a scone sliced in half.
