We have found my old J94 - so will give it a try - a mini winter project. Will use 6 pin AE Models Function Decoder and 6 pin socket.

Good video Jenny! I’ve just completed the fitting of a HM7000 Bluetooth decoder to an older Hornby Castle Class, which I picked up from £65 @ a show, just a few weekends ago! Lovely model which is now fully sound fitted!
Well done for showing everyone how easy it is!👏👏

I have two little J94 locomotives. One is the maroon and black and the other is green Lord Phil!! Both are both sound chipped.

    Great video, Jenny 👍.
Although it's old, the older tooling of the Hornby J94 is still a decent model.

Which is my favourite of these two gorgeous little J94s? I think it must be Lord Phil. He’s visited the Epping Ongar Railway and I rode behind him.

My favourite is the blue Wimblebury one.

The chipped DCC decoder is in the front of the locomotive and the speaker is in the cab.

There is a surprising amount of usable space.
