Good video Jenny! I’ve just completed the fitting of a HM7000 Bluetooth decoder to an older Hornby Castle Class, which I picked up from £65 @ a show, just a few weekends ago! Lovely model which is now fully sound fitted! Well done for showing everyone how easy it is!👏👏
We have found my old J94 - so will give it a try - a mini winter project. Will use 6 pin AE Models Function Decoder and 6 pin socket.
Both good exercise AND good practice!!

I have two little J94 locomotives. One is the maroon and black and the other is green Lord Phil!! Both are both sound chipped.
Lord Phil is one I need to find.
Great video, Jenny 👍.
Although it's old, the older tooling of the Hornby J94 is still a decent model.
Absolutely.
Which is my favourite of these two gorgeous little J94s? I think it must be Lord Phil. He’s visited the Epping Ongar Railway and I rode behind him.
My favourite is the blue Wimblebury one.
Lovely locos
The chipped DCC decoder is in the front of the locomotive and the speaker is in the cab.
There is a surprising amount of usable space.
