There were so many hysterical moments in this one that I had a hard time deciding which one would be considered the #1 funny moment. I'm going to go with Olivia holding up the "No Thanks" coaster in response to Headology (awesome to see her on the show) casting Karn Liberated. That nearly killed me. The whole general reaction on turn 1 transferring to turn 2 was hilarious af. I'm literally in tears over that opening hand from Olivia. This is why that enchantment is expensive af and needs a reprint lol
**obtains WUBRG turn 2** "I feel so alive right now" Lands are so beautiful. As it feels so much more fair than turn 1: Mana Crypt, Mox Diamond (discard surplus land), Sol Ring and have 5 mana to play, anything you want (just using 5 cards no less). (there are faster ways to ramp but this kind of advantage feels like what rampy decks would normally do. And no I don’t play CEDH)
Sanctum of Tranquil Light has text ! Insurrection could have been avoided by killing their player in the air for 24 damage (by tapping the big dragon).
Great vids ladies...! Just for a note for anyone that is playing with an old version of sylvan library that was before the errata... The current wording on it is you may draw 2 additional cards during your draw step, put up to two back for each you don't put back pay 4 life. This is relevant if there's an effect out that stops you drawing additional cards in a turn for instance narset or spirit of the labyrinth because you don't get to see the extra cards

There's nothing more satisfying then a game of commander with every deck sort of popping off/showing what they can do/build a credible threat. Loosing a game that was fun, tense, felt like you had a chance and that everyone did is fun and satisfying. Winning it is obviously better, but loosing is ok.
Another lovely game. I love watching all yall play. "Hey, just a heads up" lol there was a turn where Olivia had an open mana, and white Go-Shintai and coulda made another 3-4ish angels. Love you people

So jealous, only time I’ve ever drawn burgeoning turn one in any of my decks I was playing bang tokens with estrid as the commander. I was going first and My first turn was lotus petal, ancient tomb, sol ring, azorius signet, burgeoning, esper sentinel, mystic remora, with command tower in hand. Everyone immediately scooped and I don’t blame them. Once in a lifetime hand though.
I loved the Insurrection victory, I myself have eliminated like 6 people with an Insurrection in one game only to be eliminated by a Kaervek by combat damage.
At 35:00 wouldn’t balefire be on the battlefield then cast eternal witness? Why would the second card resolve first? Have I been playing maelstrom wrong this entire time?
Pretty sure you finish each cascade before moving to next cascade so yes balefire would resolve first. Essentially the way I know cascade is it puts two on the stack, top cascade starts pulls balefire that resolves, etbs and all that then the second cascade starts and does it's thing. I play a yidris cascade deck.
As heartbreaking as it was to see Olivia pass her first trigger opportunity to use Go-Shintai of Shared Purpose, the epiphany she had on the following turn made up for it.

Olivia you actually can pay 1 on the shrine as many times as you want to make your shrine tokens that are then turned into angels so technically you could have had 15 angels by 45:57
Olivia I am working on a go shintai deck with no other shrines. It revolves around arcane bombardment and go shintai is just to return the enchantments
Olivia *could* have killed Ari: She had the mana to tap down her only flying blocker with the Shrine, then pump one angel with Nylea, for exact lethal (although i think she had 1 more angel than she should have, because I think she never removed the angel she created when she brought back the Sanctum, before realizing it was exiled and she couldn't)

Divine visitation goes against everything shrines want to do. Maybe playing it before the commander or blue shrine would have wasted enchantment removal while also making multiple shrines to at least draw 4 cards off it. I love shrines but token support makes them wack sometimes.

I done some funny win before with Mob Rule and I would copy that spell to get every creature then kill everyone once they build up their army for me to rule 😅

I'm a bit like Alias. I've never seen an Insurrection. I feel like some of those old cards are out of fashion at the moment but they're kinda coming around again. For those of us who haven't seen 100 games end that way
