      Goats were "helping". 🤣 If you need some cheap wheels, post a notice in town for old carts people use to pack groceries home. We have probably 6 whells here.
      The carts are those ones with bags, handles, diagonal braces you see older people use. Unfortunately most of those carts are poorly made, so wheels frequently fall off. 🤦

      Just about forgot, find 2 very stiff bristle brushes, attach then to a post one slightly higher than the other. Goats LOVE to rub on them and the brushes can be simply screwed onto the post, replaced when worn out. Saves on fencing. 😀

      This video reminds me SO VERY much of our goats!!! It cracks me up!!! I have literally watched it 7 times now and still cry from laughing so hard. I have 6 does (3 that are almost 3 years old and their daughters that are a year old). They are ALWAYS trying to "help" us work around the farm 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤣. I know how this video makes you feel. Thank you for sharing your videos

      My late mom was Tennessee Cherokee and she always loved fresh fried chicken dinner. She told me the chickens changed taste when they were commercially sold but the farm fresh chickens that are the Genetically Normal Chickens that our great great great grandfather ate! Then I went to the Amish Farms and ask about the difference between GM foods and non GM foods the Amish gave me a ear of corn that was NOT GM CORN AND THE EARS WERE 5inches long and small sized compared to the 10 inches and very thick ears of corn bought at the Big Grocery store so the difference is taste because the little ears of corn had more flavor than the big ears of corn TWICE THE FLAVOR! HALF THE SIZE PERFECT TO DEHYDRATE AND STORE!

    I've seen other people put wheels on there chicken tractor so it's easier to move it around with a bar on the front of it. So 1 person can move it around. It's an easy fix to your problem. It's something to think about. I really like all your videos and I would like to see other builds in the future. God bless you and your family 😊.

  • @kd2eat

    The goats were hysterical! lol. Perfect music, too! Regarding moving the chicken pen, I wonder if you threw down some seed in the front just before you dragged it, if that would help? They sure know to come running when you put it down. I'm not sure how far you're moving it each time and whether they'd stay at the seed if you moved up to grab the enclosure. It's a thought, though.

    • @ThisOffGridLife
      @ThisOffGridLife  Год назад +2

      that's a good idea, we can throw down some feed and that will definitely keep them occupied near the front

    • @blklbluvr
      @blklbluvr Год назад +1

      Better yet hang a trough with seed on the front for the birds so you can move it longer distances if need be.

    To move The Chicken Tractor see if you have any plastic pipes/tubes that can be attached at bottom of the sides and act as runners on a sleigh.
    In each corner you could place a eyelet so that by using a 2x4 you can move each corner slowly so that no one gets hurt.
