I actually think I prefer it not being voted on live because people figure out who is behind the masks and then it would turn into a popularity contest with the celebrities. I think what they need to do is have the same people vote each week so they see past performances as well. The problem is voting based off one performance.

I also think Jesse should have won. Not just because I'm a fan but because he was good every single week. The night angel was bad some weeks. I wish he sang something more hype for the finale. The audience is all about the hype.

I feel like of the three finalists he was the most consistent throughout the entire season. Every song he brought it and killed it. He was the best vocally. Definitely think he got robbed of first place.

Also, the superhero clues were referencing his role as the voice of Robin/Nightwing in the animated show Young Justice.
And the way he holds the blow up guitar reminds me of how they hold key blades in Kingdomhearts and he was the voice of roxas in the Kingdom Hearts games I believe and for the other then dream st the biggest give away was the red photo album that was one of his clues cause that red photo album was apart of the opening theme of “All my Children” the soap that Jesse got his start on back in the late 90s early 00s these clues would have given it away for me if I didn’t recognize his voice from like the first note lol

You are correct, it is Jesse. The reason why he is winded is that just the shell weighs 50lbs alone and it is also really hard to breathe inside of that suit. Good guessing!
Not to mention the leather jacket. Fake leather or nah once you add that to a costume it's hot as a friggin dutch oven regardless if you're physically fit or a fluffy guy.

This makes me love him even more! I hadn't heard or seen from him in so long. Hearing him singing those songs made me fall in love all over again! What a beautiful singer! He's beautiful inside and out! I'm going to say it, him and his beautiful soul. I watched All My Children and loved him on that! I followed him up until Alvin and the Chipmunks and then pretty much didn't see him again until now. You're right, I was very disappointed that he didn't get to sing til the end, but I'm glad he made it most of the way so we can enjoy this remarkably talented man!
You were just as frustrated with their guesses as I was. I knew who it was from day one as soon as he started singing. The fact it took so long for them to guess him drove me crazy.
Also he stated in an interview that the costume was about 40 pounds so him being winded makes sense.

I knew who it was right from the first note too! I agree he got robbed. And I think he did too. She was good, but he was so much better. The vocals alone were so much better and then add on that he interacted with the audience. He was also singing in tricky keys on at least half of his performances. He also was the only one brave enough to strip away everything but the music and his vocals. He exposed himself in the best way. And that last performance, he brought on a live band. I can't think of any one else who would do that. I think they just wanted a female to win and they picked the wrong one. I'll stand by this 100%, my top 3 who should have been in the finals.

The heart shape and the game is referring to the game kingdom hearts where he voice acts the voices of ventus and roxas.
The super hero ref and the one where robin kept showing up is referring to him voice acting as dick grasson aka the 1st robin who laters becomes night wing in young justice. All the 90s/early 2000 refrences are because then he was the most popular.
The red, blue and green chips are referenced to Alvin and the chipmunks, where he voiced Theodore (the one in the green sweater)
The reason the turtle is winded, he is inside a suite and mass, 90 degrees maybe inside, it's heavy and it's hard to breathe. Just give it up for the turtle and leave it at that.

They vote based on the performance that night. The audience didn't see their other performances and they voted based off of the finale so that is why Night Angel won.

I knew it was him from the first song. My teenage wall was covered in Jesse posters. And I still have both his older CD's, I looked at them the other day.
I was too young to have his posters, but old enough to see him on Disney channel and know he was Terence in Tinkerbell (one of my very first fictional crushes) and I remember his cd being the first one I got. He was my first celebrity crush and seeing this video and knowing his voice has hit me with the nostalgia bus

So story time. Last August my friend and I went on a girl's trip to to Ocean City. While there were went to a water park that had a mini golf course. While we were doing the course, you know they play music, and all of the sudden Beautiful Soul came on and we just started singing it on the course. Pretty sure the people in front of us were judging us, but let me tell you, that's probably my favorite memory of that trip.

To answer your question about Zac Enron singing... the first HSM movie he couldn’t. They had to have someone else sing his part. The first 2 movies I believe.
But he was embarrassed about not being able to sing so he got a vocal coach and worked with him. So now he actually can sing lol

And I can't help but feel that it's kinda funny that all three winners so far have been known to be really good friends with Nick Cannon at one point or another. I'm not trying to sound suspicious or claim anything is going on behind the scenes or anything like that. It's just funny to me is all.
I knew it was Jesse from the very beginning and I was so mad that no one was guessing Jesse the whole time! xD I was also a bit sad because he didn't win. I used to (still do) listen to his songs all the time! Especially Beautiful Soul. I love his song Better with you. My dad was actually his tour bus driver about 2 years ago for his Better With You Tour and we got to meet him and go to one of his concerts I got a migraine during the people who performed before him and didn't get to stay for his whole performance (i suffer from Chronic Migraines) at the end when they were back on the bus moving to the next place my dad told Jesse that I had a migraine and couldn't stay. Jesse was so kind and genuine he made sure to ask my dad how I was now and to tell me that he was sorry I couldn't stay and was so nice. Jesse is a truly good person and an amazing singer!

Jesse mcartney, super obvious as soon as he hit that high note and and when he sang the phrase with soul in it, it immediately made me think about his hit song beautiful soul because he sang it the exact same way.
I’ll admit I was struggling with Jesse’s voice but once I saw the chips I thought Alvin and the Chipmunks and instantly thought of Jesse. He was super, super cute as Theodore

Actually, as a feminist, I would be more freaked out to find out that they let her win only because she is a woman. I don't think that's the case though, as night Angel did give a really strong final performance, which had the audience more hyped.

Honestly I knew it was Jesse as soon as I heard him too. I have admired Jesse ever since he was in Dream Street. The judges were right he had some boyband background. Every time he would preform I kept saying I know that voice it’s got to be one of those Disney boys that I liked but I could never think of a name. Then I watched your videos and it just clicked.
