Bro I did this exact thing with the same headliner glue and same if not equivalent material…after 2 years, now that it’s summer in LA, the suede material has released itself from the foam ☹️☹️☹️ The spray glue worked to hold the foam but I guess the glue that attaches the suede to the foam is cheap. Hope this won’t happen to you! 🙌
I notice that you laid it on the existing headliner material. Did that hurt the adhesion at all? Is it better to strip the headliner before laying the new material? Or is it unnecessary
I wouldn’t strip the headliner cause it might come off uneven and then you’ll have not the best surface to apply new material on. Unless your old headliner material is falling off.
@@I._NED old one is pretty intact. Since it has a texture to it, I was wondering, it may not provide a consistent surface for the adhesive. But I guess I'll try it over it
@@HunterSmiley-ej3inI just wrapped mine. You need about 2 yards of suede. I went to Joann’s Fabric to get my suede. Honestly I am so happy with the way it comes out. And you need two cans of adhesive
Way better in black 👍🏻
Agree!
Yoooo pmo with the links to everything you used , put them in the description

That turned out super nice, how much did this cost?
The material it self if I’m remembering correctly was around ~$60 + the can of adhesive I believe around $10-12
@@I._NED DUUUUUUDE thank you so much sorry for my lazyness haha, just curious if it was worth it. How is it holding up?
@@ThurnisHaley it’s holding up great, no signs of it failing any time soon

Did you ever figure it out
