I went back last Saturday for my first time since i broke my collarbone and had tons of fun, not a lot of people out there but definitely some bad vibes. Almost got into a fight and a separate argument. First incident these guys chased my brother down the hill, held onto my brothers bike and tried to pull him off it just cause we passed them on a split in the trail.(they were stopped) And the guy tried to hit me with his helmet when we told him to calm down and walk away. The second a woman ahead of me was blocking lower turtle on the G out after the plank and i tried to warn her i was coming down and another person behind me. Idk what she thought i said but she followed me down the hill into the plaza tried to hit me and said i had a “big fucking mouth on me”. Idk what was in the water but a lot of people were in a bad mood; honestly really put me off the sport especially considering my injury.
@@TommyHuynh For sure. I think before Blue Steel, "under the bridge" was still Party Wave. But Party Wave now goes directly into Westridge (especially with the new bridge). And going under the new bridge is Blue Steel continued. But y'know, we're still go under the bridge to get to that section, so it's still kind of "under the bridge". 😆
@DK-wd8ju yeah I'm still rocking Chilao pedals on all my bikes. No discount codes they have a hard time keeping them in stock. The new Chilao pedals has upgraded internals you will dig them.
Can't wait to go back, last year I went twice and it was incredible, eager to return and try out my new bike.
Wow it's even quieter than when we went up a couple fo weeks ago.. Crazy!
@rufusbass oh yeah it's always empty on weekdays especially middle of season. It's only busy at the very beginning of season and very end

That section is still Blue Steel or I guess "lower Blue Steel".
@mtb_alan Interesting because I never even considered that section Blue Steel since that section was built before Blue Steel was built.
