B, Rocky turned out so cute! He's a spicy little dude. My hope is his pet parents start bringing him back on a regular basis so he can become accustomed to grooming without the fight and fuss. Keep up the good work. Your videos help me to become a more confident home groomer. I got to use clippers around the corner of Shih Tzu eyes and bridge of the nose today for the first time. Lots of little baby steps here, but we are walking in the right direction. Thanks for all you do.
Oh what a cute scruffy Rocky, but his groom transformed him into a handsome beau.... The amount of coat you removed was phenomenal. So much fluffy hair went... His short cut showed how thick his coat is and how lovely it is. Loved his wee bow tie.... I hope his owners continue with a routine groom and get some help with stopping him biting. He is a dog who is needing an alpha to educate him... Not a toy to be seen with....
Awwww!!! He turned out adorable!!!! For the most part he was a good boy! He’s still a puppy. U did a fabulous groom on him as u usually do!!! Live the bow tie…hubby wears n loves em too!!😉😂🤣. Hv a blessed day, girl!!!🩷🥰🙏🏽🌷🌴🦩🌺‼️🐶
you need to use a shorter blade for the matting, it pulls at their skin. and it hurts. I have a cat right now, but I grew up with a dog and I maintained her myself. and I watched a lot of videos to know what's best to do for what situation. and the reason why this dog hates you is because you are traumatizing it by forcing a number 4 through a matted area that should be cut with a 9 or 10 blade depending on how far down the mat goes. that is coupled with the lack of maintenance obviously because the owners probably couldn't afford it. or were never told that they need to brush their pets occasionally. If its brush-able, brushing should be done before the bath. yes the hammock can help but if the dog has been traumatized before they remember it. you need to assess the situation before you just dive right in, it will be better for you and the dog or cat that you are working on. I may not be a professional and I get that, but as someone who has practiced grooming on their own animals I have learned a lot by experience and gaining knowledge through videos. and yes I am aware of the fact that 9 and 10 blades are more surgical, so they cut close to the skin. but that is how far some mats go and if your actually being careful you won't knick any animal.
Everything you just stated about the grooming process is completely wrong; do not quit your day job! You can't be serious "the owner's were probably never told to brush their pet"🤦🏿♀️ That's like saying, someone never told me thar I need to take a breath... A 2 year old knows that you have to brush a dog's fur. Lastly, she made it very clear that this dog has had issues with his legs and biting since he was a puppy. There's no traumatizing going on here; just another lazy owner that hasn't trained their dog to be groomed.
😂 when he got that last warning and ended up in the hammock.... the sound of triumph you gave and how helplessly "grounded" he got. 😂

I think it’s always hilarious when you put the dogs in the hammock 🤣
