There's a general misconception that being alone is tantamount to being lonely. But that's not true. Loneliness is a state of mind. You can be in the midst of people and still be lonely if they aren't connecting to you on a deep level. Enjoying solitude is a life's skill every man should endeavor to acquire. It will come handy at some point in life.
