So this diffuser was added to a 328i base bumper then you installed the quad pipes?

I am about to buy a 2013 328i. What would say about reliability? The ones that I am looking at have around 120k miles in them. I heard that generally these are not bad engines, but also read some horror stories about the turbos. Thanks for helping out. (the significantly less fun alternative would be a 320d)
The 328i is definitely a reliable car. I have had mine for 2 years at 110,000+ miles and it hasn’t had a single problem. I believe most of those turbo issues are results of custom tunes and pushing boost on the car or maybe just rate cases. Most of the people I talk to that own them say they are reliable as well. Just be safe with how you tune your car and using something that won’t hurt it. 320ds are fun too! I love the diesel platform on bmw. You can’t quite get as much power from the 320d but it sounds insane! Both are good choices hopefully you enjoy what you get!

I have had my 328i for a year. New, reliable, sporty, and luxurious, I got a black-on-black with a red interior, red brake calipers, and carbon fiber everywhere. It's worth every person who has driven my car falls in love and either gets a 2013 328i or wants one so bad haven't had any significant issues. I've traveled a lot with my car, never had a breakdown, and I have insane fuel. It saves so much fuel, especially on eco. Good luck!

@@Toysourboy They probably can't work on them or afford the repairs, so I wouldn't count them as anything since they will run those cars into the dirt 9/10 due to improper maintence & care. Unless your family is millionaires, I doubt mommy and daddy will be paying for the repair costs, granted in actuality they aren't that expensive if you simply know how to work on them. The most expensive things are engine rebuilds & Trans replacements & I can do both. - Actually, now that I think about it; should your injectors need replacing, you'll be paying like $800 at the cheapest I think, but they only need changing once every 65k miles I think. People who buy these cars to be cool, don't have them for long. They sell them too me for like $1,000 and I make them run again with minor fixes & resell them. Picked one up from a 18 year old kid who said his wouldn't run and it had been sitting for 3 weeks. He was pissed when I knew exactly what was wrong with it, and noticed I didn't bring a trailer to pick it up. I replaced 2 parts after having the titled and paid for it, then drove off with it & resold it for $10K. Easy money. If I keep it up, I'll retire early lol. No shortage of chumps.
I didn't see a supercharger sticking out of the hood! I just bought a 2015 328i sport line and bought a rear lip and looking for a front lip Also going to do Dinan ECU upgrade along with their suspension software & spring upgrade l'm going to go with Hawk pads & stainless steel braided brake lines to help improve braking Your car looks killer!

Can you explain what you did to get that sound? You kept the catalitic converter and went with a straight pipe? Did the y to make more exhaust do anything for the sounds? I have the same car in a wagon, looking to make it roar!
You got everything right and the y pipe doesn’t affect the sound that much. It would sound the same with a straight single exit

Im about to buy a second hand 2012 BMW 328i F30. How are the repairs and patience? Are there any risk?
The only thing I can think of is the timing chain. I believe the n20 2012 have that issue. And if it goes wrong it’s a pretty pricey repair. If you were to get one I’d listen for a certain sound. You can probably find a RUclips vid on it. Other than that I believe it’s a good reliable car as long as it was taken care of.

I'm sure his downpipe plays a big role as well. My next chop is the resonator cuz my muffler delete isn't loud enough lol

I’d say LEDs but you’ll have to code them in. I think BimmerCode can code that but I’m not sure. Other than that you have to stick with the halogen bulbs (the one you got)

How much HP do u think this pushes? Was looking to buy a 328i or a 335i heard the 328 is more reliable but I want to see if I can push it a little bit with some modifications
i make about 300hp so 60hp above stock. Tbh id say go with the 335i bc if your a car person and want something thats quick the 335i is the way to go. you can do slight mods or go all out with 500hp. the 328i with bolt ons practically maxes out where i am at. but its still a fun quick car.

Yeah there is no diffuser for the base bumpers. The m sport bumper is what I have. It can come from the factory like mine did with the m sport package

Nice murdered out bimmer! How has this car been, reliability wise, after ownership?
I've owned the car for a little over 2 years now and the car has been super reliable even when doing stage 2 and e mix mods. The only problem I have had was the primary o2 sensor went out throwing a code, but it was a easy replace and fix. Also super fun car to drive as well. Decent power to make it feel quick.

I got a muffler shop to do it for me and the tips bought online. And you just need a y pipe at some point

should i save up and buy this car? I’m in college right now and I have a 1998 Honda accord I graduate in 2026 and I just wanted something newer before life actually hits me in my face
It all depends on your financial situation and if you really like this car when you drive it. But I’ll tell you from experience that this car is very reliable fun to upgrade and quick. I enjoyed owning it and now I have a 335i and I still love these f30s for the great exterior design and the luxury interior (something most cars at this price don’t have). These f30s are getting more and more popular to modify and I think even tho the 328 is the slowest it’s still got the style and gets great fuel economy (20-33mpg)

@@ianTufff one thing I will say is that I thoroughly enjoyed my car having almost all the options. Id personally spend the extra bit more to get options i think you’d agree in the long run. I would rather own a m sport pak and lots of options 328i that’s bone stock with higher miles than a non m sport pak no options 328i that’s modified. Just keep that in mind and test drive different optioned cars to get a feel for the differences

So I just crashed my Audi a week ago and got bred back for it and I’m now looking at a 2013 bmw 328i with 85,000 miles no accidents. It’s been kept up pretty well but at 85000 miles I’m a lil concerned
I wouldn't be too concerned these are really reliable cars. I would just say when you get the money and time go ahead and do the timing chain repair if you're planning on keeping the car for a while. I never had a issue with the car ever but some people have so

where did you get this quad exhaust? i got the same model but mine came with a single tip
Have to buy a rear diffuser that has space for quad tips. You have to make sure you have the m sport bumper or else you cannot change the rear diffuser because the base model doesn’t have a diffuser. The exhaust tips were bought online and I got a local muffler shop to do my exhaust and put those on

My steering wheel and paddles are stock from factory. It’s part of the m sport kit. You can retro fit the paddles and the steering wheel from other places tho

Is this an M sport? The front lip description says it only fits m sport. I have a 2013 328i stock
Yeah my car has the msport kit which includes the m sport front bumper. This front lip will only fit these bumpers the other bumper is different
I had my 2015 328i (base) for bout 3 years and so far I went through some standard gaskets such as oil filter housing and valve cover gasket, some sensors, new fuel pump, got about 90K miles on it now and lately my car’s been hesitating/lagging at low RPMs, especially in barely moving traffic, soon as I let go of the break and gas a little, the car would hesitate and then jump forward a lil all of a sudden, anyone has any idea what’s wrong? Also if there’s any BMW fanatics in the Florida area who’d can do a restoration project with me, pls feel free to hit me up, would like to make this car run like new again and change whatever I can without getting robbed at a BMW service center

I had a similar problem the car would would jerk forward coming down from 2nd gear to 1st gear and same when going up on gears turn out I just needed my transmission updated I took it to some guy who knew how to update the computer system of the transmission and it stopped jerking ever since

I mean if you want to strait pipe it then you always can on any car. Now the 316i I don’t know too much about but I know that if you want a bit more power then the 335i is not too much more to get. I would also keep an eye out for m sport kit cars and see if you wouldn’t regret buying a regular sport package when you could get the m sport. There’s a good bit into these cars so just take your time and research a lot.

Yep that’s how the n20 sounds
its actually not the timing chain. the f30's use the same fuel injectors as the diesel f30's, so that ticking is coming from the pressurized fuel injectors, not the timing chain.

Yeah so I have bootmod3 now and its been great I go back and forth through the e30 tune and the stage2 93 tune. These cars are amazingly reliable and super fun. Great styling too. My quality has been upgraded as well since lol

A modification is something that helps the car make more power or makes it easier to make power, since u didn’t change the diameter of the exhaust I can for sure say not one single thing u have done to ur car is a modification 🤷🏽♂️ nor is this anywhere close to every mod u can do, how do u feel that u spent thousands of dollars on ur car and u could get walked by the exact same car as urs that’s stock with a 400$ tune?.
I’m glad people comment stuff like this bc it is all true and I like giving my take one why I do what I do. So I wanted to first make my car look at least half way decent but now since I’ve done that and an exhaust I have already bought a flash tune and supporting performance mods to up the power on this car. Now yes my car is a 4 cylinder and it can’t make that much power but it’s what I have to start me off with knowing thing about a car and modding it. And I’ve learned a lot so far! So yeah your right money wasted but not to me. It’s just me and my friends trying to have a bit of fun. If a 4 cyl automatic car with 300hp isn’t your cup of tea I totally get it. Trust me. But this was a gift from my dad and I’ve decided to learn a few things off of it. ThicWhips (ThicF30) made tons of successful videos off of his 328i and now has the ability to buy tons of the newer manual bmws and I hope after this car I can get some bigger projects going!

Just bought a f30 328i, as of right now i have a vrsf dp and cp so if i tune it to stage one will those install how would the Reliability be after the tune?
I believe bootmod3 keeps your reliability as if it was factory. When going to stage 2 it is recommended to get a intercooler to keep that reliability, but since your going to stage 1 there are no requirements and from what I’ve heard keep your car reliable just like factory.

Don't understand why you'd modify an automatic transmission car... Are you really a car enthusiast?
I don’t understand why you wouldn’t. The new Ferraris have electric motors and they out compete the standard v12s. Look at the McLaren P1. The Auto transmission, especially some of the newer dual clutch ones, are so much faster than you will ever be when shifting. The new Mustang auto 10 speed is so much faster than the manual 6 speed in the same car. The one thing I love is the fact that I can swap to manual mode and use paddles to get it in the gear I want when I want as well. Everyone has their opinion and I love both!
Btw I mentioned the hybrid motor cars because some people think your not a car enthusiast if you like hybrids over the big muscle engines.
All the cars you've mentioned, no enthusiast would own them. Manuals allow you to be more in touch with the car - remove this function and you've essentially taken away the soul. Paddle shifters don't count unfortunately...

@@duncancheeves Word. Well I hope you make it far, bro! Nice ride! You do your own maintence & mechanical work?? It's allot easier in BMW 3 Series (especially) to do your own stuff. Saves you thousands too. Took me an hour to learn the programming/coding/registering alone. The engine bay is beautifully designed with everything pretty much easy to get too.

I bought mine with 108,000 and it has been perfectly reliable and I’ve had no issues for now upcoming 117,000

What did u do to the exhaust ?
Took out the muffler and the resonator and then strait piped it
Other than the exhaust this is more or less exactly the same as my car. I have red leather interior though.
