I like the strings at the beginning of E1M2, and the bass and drums sound good too.

you just set your SFX volume level a bit too high imo

Almost everything sounds awesome, but Sign of Evil [E1M8, E4M1] has it's core instruments replaced with silly doots.

"Just renamed it'vzdoom' and put it in the gzdoom file labled 'soundfonts'."
Or just leave it as that and select it in-game.

Sounds amazing. Is that Lars Ulrich on track 3? Lol

The file worked fine for me, BTW. I'm trying it in Doom2 right now, Track 1 already sounds goooood.

Glad you enjoy it. :) Took me a while to find some decent soundfonts to combine in order to make a more convincing midi playback. Glad I did though, because now this soundfont is not only on my PC version, but also on my soft modded Switch version of GZDoom as well. Because y'know, GZDoom on the Switch is better than the official Bethesda port.

@@Skateboardwonder Is there any chance you'd be able to make a version with an improved instrument for the core instrumentation in E1M8/E4M1? It used to be extended synthy hums but now it's silly doots
