I would love to know your Mom's reaction when she sees it. Plus, a few pictures after a couple of months to see how it wears in. Leather gets so much better as it ages. Thanks Eric!
You really do nice bags. It's a shame that you aren't selling the patterns. Thanks again for the videos that you do. I've learned a lot over the years.
I think you are very good at your work, I'm sure that your mother will thank you for such a great job. You have found your calling working with your hands, keep up the great work and take care of your self....
Thank you Sir for detailed explanation of every single step in making this piece! Actually you inspired me to make leather works of my own because when I was on summer vacation I've seen many your videos and I like it. After that - usual story, I've spent money for tools, threads, wax and of course a few rolls of nice geniune leather. Of course my skills far away from yours but I've already done few leather diary covers for collegues of my work, they are even ordered leather diary for our boss for his 72th birthday and I did it! It was a secret till he opened the gift box ;-) So thank you for the inspiration and all the best in this hard times! From Russia with Love!
Your Mum is loving this handbag right now for sure. I for one would not be carrying anything that could spill inside of it, so no water for me 😊. It's beautiful Corter & the single handle makes it very unique 😍
This bag turned out amazing. I started in leather crafting a couple years ago. I make belts by hand, double layer, hand stitched, so I understand the hassle of getting long straps straight, and then stitching them. Much appreciated seeing this video set showing the work that goes into these items.
Thank you for sharing this one! I started working with leather for about a year now. And I just wanted to tell you that your video's have been very inspiring. I love your style and designs. And your seemingly effortless way of working which only shows your skill.
I was interested in this video because of the closing mechanism you used, I ended up thinking of a bag I could use, that being a map case, and I made it with the teqniques you showed. Thank you so much, your guide to becoming a better craftsman is phenomenal.
What a awesome achievement for these videos :) Very nice, you still one of my principal inspiration source for my work and passion :) Thank you for all you share with us :) Take care
Your videos are always so clear and easy to follow! Would you consider doing one on some basic differences between leathers? Or some small items that can be made with scraps?
On the flap by the closure loop, to round it off, it would look nice if there was stitches around the square hole, and maybe some backing on the inside to add strength.
Can you teach us how you stitching leather? Almost everybody uses double needle, but you use single needle mostly, it looks comfortably especially for beginners
Fantastic, as always - thanks! Exactly what kind of leather are you using on the outside? Is it Veg tanned? Also, would it make sense to have a layer of veladon laminated inside that strap holder for strength? Thanks
Would you recommend stitching around the hole in the main flap (the one for the loop to poke through) to give a little more structure? Would it matter all that much? Edit: Forgot to mention, it turned out great!
Well well well, when I put on ma leather, and rock to sum Metallica, Delta Parole, Foo Fighters or the Smashing Pumpkins I feel like I can do anything in the whole wide world.

You're the greatest youtuber ever. Been wanting to make myself a satchel like the one Arthur Morgan wears in Red Dead Redemption 2.
Beautiful, I hope the recipiant thoroughly enjoys using this stunning bag

Your Mom is so lucky to have this incredibly beautiful bag!
Can I adopt you, Eric?
Oh. My. Word. Your mom is soooo lucky! What a gorgeous bag... and 'freestyle' no less.
I had no idea I wanted to do leather work until binge watching your videos. Great teacher and craftsman.

Such a handsome bag. I would love one made with leather that is more rustic.
My favorite so far! Fantastic!
Now...PUT THE PATTERN UP! I WANT TO BUY IT!
there's no pattern! We made the pieces from scratch in part 1 :)

I’ve been so excited for part 2. It turned out beautifully. This leather looks buttery good. 😍
I’d love to purchase this pattern, but I’m not seeing it on your website anymore.
Great project, I done similar bags and they are fun to make.
Thanks 👍
Came out great!
Beautiful!
Muchas gracias maestro por explicar.. saludos desde Argentina ✌️🙏
Beautiful
Woohoo you used my idea about this being a three part series 🤣🤣🤣🤣Beautiful work
I'd really appreciate a video on how you polish your leather at the end of the project.
Awesome bag. May need a 2nd keeper for that strap end tho
Really nice bag. Great design.

Thank you "E". 🤗
In love 😍

Спасибо за видео, просто и со вкусом. 👍👍👍
7:36 yup its a cobblers anvil.
Would love to have this made as a pattern for purchase.

That bend glue is what I did with my wallet, I miss doing leather stuff.
It's good for a camera bag too.
really nice!

Beautiful 💗
Is it possible to buy the pattern for this purse? I couldn't find on your shop. Thanks!
шикарная работа...
Hermoso trabajo,felicitaciones
Looks great. Are you going to have a pattern available? I think I'll need to make 4 of them for my granddaughters.
how do you get your chisels out so easily after punching. I always feel like i have to wrestle mine out.
How many hours did it take you to make this and for how much would a bag like this sell for?
Thought it said a leather scalpel...wanted to see that!
I noticed your keeper was stapled, but there aren't any details for what stapler you used... Any chance you can share that info?
Thanks.
Will the pattern for this be available ?
Отличная сумка!
Your finger getting that close while sanding made me _nervous_
The whole on front flap should have rivets on corners... or maybe some sort of metal trim... that would set it off!
Killed it! So beautiful
can i lining it with a fabric and a zipper inside
What did you use to cut the strap? Whats is that tool?
This is amazing, what is the color of the thread used in this bag?
How did you guys get your logo made into a stamp? Just curios!
Ive been subed 2 yearssss
Like seing u grow
Why was the gusset made in two pieces with rivets instead of one piece?
Hey Dude - did you ever make a pattern for this bag?
awesome
Would you recommend stitching around the hole in the main flap (the one for the loop to poke through) to give a little more structure? Would it matter all that much?
Edit: Forgot to mention, it turned out great!
I was thinking exactly the same thing!
You can if you'd like :) I don't know if it would add structure honestly, but it would look nice
Please tell me, what kind of glue you use
Beautiful! Nice work👍🏼💎 how long did it take for you to make it?
Thanks! a little under 30 hours total
do u have the pattern of this bag? please
Красота.
Awesome
Beautiful work AS ALWAYS. Will you be making some “manly satchels” in the future??
hmmmm, not sure what you mean by manly haha! But we've got a few other bag designs planned this year :)
@@Corter A satchel Indiana Jones would take with him on a trip. And of course with something to attach the whip to 😊
@@olivepressdesign You just need a spring clip and a D-ring!
@@FerozeIyer 😳 AND.... a whip.
Make some Louis Vuitton back bag
anyone else notice the patterns link doesn't go to this pattern?
How can i get it
couldn't find pattern on web site.
You really do sound like Ron Swanson XD.
Well well well, when I put on ma leather, and rock to sum Metallica, Delta Parole, Foo Fighters or the Smashing Pumpkins I feel like I can do anything in the whole wide world.
👏👍
Queria comprar uma bolsa tiracolo masculina
