How long is the cord from the solar panel to the first bulb? Is the cord even long enough to use the ground stake option?

i charged them on but i think the correct way it off and then turn on Once it gets dark then you leave it turned on :D

You can charge them
With the switch ON or OFF doesn’t matter. You can also use a power bank to increase the battery life in case you get a few over cast days. Just leave the power bank plugged in to the USB port and turn ON/OFF the lights as needed.
