Po-64 Super Mario would be phenomenal. There are PLENTY of nostalgic of Mario/Nintendo sounds. From mushroom noises and fireball blips and bricks breaking to the “wopopwopwopwopwopwop” almost voiceover the characters actually say out loud to accompany the text, to thomps and boos. I bought a PO-33 a couple weeks before this was announced and I was so bummed about it. I ended up buying the PO-133 and sent it to a musician friend who used to be obsessed with Street Fighter Alpha 3, so it was in my hands for a moment, and somehow that was good enough.
Love the functionality of this little in size yet big in sound .. twinkling .. pulsating jive box .. fantastic .. the beat you set in motion got me swaying and smiling .. thanks for the tips and insights .. !
This was my first po. I already erased all the sounds and uploaded my own. Im already cooking up some beats. Some of them are fire! Its almost too easy.
@@4golgo13 you can save what you are working on with custom sounds and reset to factory sounds. And same with factory sounds, you can save patterns on you phone and erase everything on the po and then pull them up again. Find a tutorial. Its weird.
I love it but have the PO-33KO already and it's basically the same thing with the cool street fighter animations (which are super cool btw) if I was feeling frivolous I would probably get it, but can't justify it right now.
Question..... Are those arcade samples copyright free? I'm guessing yes as its in the po. Being a SF2 arcade player back in the day..... Those are genuine vocals from the original arcade.
Hey man, I just found your channel and I have the original 33KO. I’m so confused and overwhelmed every time I think about putting new samples onto it. Is there a simple way I can load the samples from this 133 onto my 33? I’m just scared of being stuck at my desk all day 😂
Is there a way you can route the audio through to your iPhone ? I want to record a video with it but want the audio to be clean and not just be my iPhone mic
So could you just erase the memory, or rest it, and use it just like an PO-33? I ask cause sometimes these can be had a for a bit cheaper than the 33, and if they’re the same, then it might make sense to save a few bucks.
@@LiamKillen Meh.. the PO's look terrible when the tab is snapped off! especially when it's not cleanly off, OK if your using a full cover case but I think they look neater as purchased, good video, just got mine, I've overwritten all of the patterns, you mentioned you can get them back? factory reset? can't see it in the paperwork.
@@LiamKillen I can buy a 100$ calculator and program it to do more than this thing does. My point is they are over charging, it is really cool but this thing should be 30$

True! We’ll se which one they create next- i’m sure there’s more POs on the way
If you want Mario 64 sounds, get a Volca FM. Lots of bell-type synth in the game soundtrack
Yes, we need this.

I don't own the PO-33 so for me it was a no brainer that getting the PO-133 makes sense :)
Yeah both models are similar.
Solid move!

Always. And thanks for watching!
Was considering the KO 33 as my first one and then the PO arcade, but decided to get the PO 133 because its best of both worlds!
Have fun with it!!

For realz though. Glad to hear it 🤜🤛
But what if u don't want to lose the sounds? Asking as a newcomer

I love my unit. One of the most fun Pocket Operators out there.
Absolutely!
I bet they’re going to make a pokémon PO. can you imagine 🤑🤑🤑
That would be explosive
I was hoping for a super Mario or Nintendo one 😅
It’s possible!
Imagine one of sonic
Maybe it’s in the pipe line
Streets of rage one would be godly and endgame.
Uber niche
Nice sounds! Still have the PO-12 but haven't used it in a while. Would be time to get it out again!
PO 12 is still my favourite lol
as always awesome video! waiting for the Megaman review
I def will be making one once i receive it
Awesome! I was just wondering if you had to record over the game sounds to put in your own. Now I know. Thanks!
Yeah they leave slots open for you and if you want you can just reset it

I feel you. Makes for. good gift though perhaps.
Just checking: so the only substantial difference with the PO-33 is the sounds, not increased sampling space etc.? Thx!
@@postlex that's right. So in theory you could just sample those sounds on the original PO-3e
@@arashmazinani Great, thank you!

I’m pretty sure they are
But be careful!
Really cool! And you brought back some memories to me. 😊
I was brought straight back to the 90s too haha

Like transferring one to another?
ruclips.net/video/mRD0tkvp3As/видео.html this will help
Sorry I wasn’t too clear, I just meant if there was a simple way to get all the new samples from the 133 onto my 33. Thanks for the reply!
Yeah you can just sample em right on there from the 133!
How the hell do you use this thing?? Looks really complicated for such a small device.
It's actually on the lower end of being complicated for TE stuff, but yeah there's def still a learning curve.
Is there a way you can route the audio through to your iPhone ? I want to record a video with it but want the audio to be clean and not just be my iPhone mic
You would need something like this:

I believe that yes you can

This thing is cool as all hell!!!!
I know right!?!? Straight back to the 90s!
The unknown effect, could it be arpeggiator
Perhaps
I have the Rick and Morty edition and I’m going to be buying this now.
I support that decision!
Can u lose the samples permanently? Want to purchase but don't want to make a giant mistake and regret
Only if you reset the PO
How the quality of the po?? Build wise? Is it plastic ?
It’s quite flimsy that’s for sure. You’d probably wanna get a case
@@LiamKillen Meh.. the PO's look terrible when the tab is snapped off! especially when it's not cleanly off, OK if your using a full cover case but I think they look neater as purchased, good video, just got mine, I've overwritten all of the patterns, you mentioned you can get them back? factory reset? can't see it in the paperwork.
hold pattern + write (i think) while placing batteries in to reset. It’s on google though! 🙂
@@LiamKillen Thanks
cheers
I'm getting one
Do iiittt!!
Hey is it possible to import bank from the PO-KO to this one?
Not that i’m aware of
I would think its possible. Just save the ko sounds to your phone and then upload the file from your phone to the 133. Am I wrong?
Yeah you can record anything into the ko using quarter inch so that’s def possible.
You're running your HD600s through an amp, right? No way the PO-133 has enough juice for those cans
I'm running all audio through my Zoom h5
02:49 I know you didn't just say "OG Super Nintendo" Boy this is OG Capcom sounds right here hahaha
I played this game in the 90s on super nintendo and these are the exact sounds from that game- is what i meant! 😅
Can you sync this with a Roland Tr-6s?
Indeed ya can- I’ve never done it though
So 4 months out, what's the verdict, worth it or not? Would be my first pocket pc sampler...
I would start with po 20 / po 33 tbh- po 12 is killer for drums
@@LiamKillen gotcha, I'll look into those
Cheers
Nice video!
Thanks I appreciate that!
I am from country number 4 :)
Brazil! (Right?)
Gm could u this to a android phone
🍻
It's cool but everyones gone be using the same street fighter samples on the same street fighter beat tapes lol
Mega man too lol
Honestly I’m not even mad about that lol
Me neither
Tnx 4 sharing 😉✌️
Sub!
Pleasure!
JAPAN CHINA USA BRAZIL! Classic cities
So nostalgic!
You know what he meant 😂
It's a reskinned po-ko
Indeed it is
That’s racist lol 😂
Do you even game Liam???🤣, great demo man, cheers!✌🏼
Appreciate it! I used to be a “gamer” but like over a decade ago. Halo 1 was the game i spent most of my time playing- that and Diablo 2
the answer is no
what is the question?
80-100$ is way over priced but this is super cool. The build is embarrassingly bad for the price
It’s actually not that bad...if you have a case 😅
@@LiamKillen I can buy a 100$ calculator and program it to do more than this thing does. My point is they are over charging, it is really cool but this thing should be 30$
debatable!
whos laugh is that?
it's a random "laugh track" that I found on splice.
I thought he was talking about the Chun-Li you-win sample
