Champakadhama Swamy temple is one of the oldest temple and it is located around 20 kms from Bangalore.
Champakadhama is another name of Lord Vishnu. The temple has unique scriptures.
Temple timings:
Morning 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Evening 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM

How to Reach:
Lot of buses to Bannerghatta from all around Bangalore.
Nearby places:
Bannerghatta National Park around 1.5 kms from temple premises.
Important:
1. Temple is close to the forest which attracts lot of Monkeys in and around the temple.
Be cautious while carrying any items in your hand like pooja items, prasadam, food etc.
2. When you are going with old age people be aware that you need to climb around steps:
a. There are around 25 steps from Mahadwara (which you can avoid if you going in vehicle 😊).
b. To reach Champakadhama (Moola Vigraha) you need to climb around 15 steps (No option to avoid this ☹).
3. To reach Narasimha Swamy temple on top of the hill you need to climb around 250 to 300 steps.
4. On top of the hill ensure your own safety.
