In this video, I take a first detailed look at the NEW AC200L by Bluetti which is released here in the UK on 13th March 2024! Why am I reviewing solar power generators ?!? Well, the children and I go car camping a lot and they use power hungry devices, along with our lighting and other things which make our car camping adventures more comfortable and luxurious! I think solar power generators are brilliant, especially when using with solar panels to harness a renewable source of power!
This new model is an absolute beast - with a maximum stated output of 2,400w (an understatement as shown in the video) and even high with 'power lifting mode' activated. Will this pass the dual air fryer gauntlet ?
Put together very well, the quality is there. With various DC, AC and USB options, this is a serious portable power generator that will keep you going on week long plus camping trips - with a constant source of power when paired with solar panels. The unit can also act as a UPS with a switching time of 20MS to ensure constant power for those important projects. I will be taking this on an upcoming car camping trip with the kids - so stay tuned for that!
Things I like:
- 0-80% charge in 45 minutes !
- Ultra fast charging in turbo mode
- Very quiet operation - even when using AC mode
- Bright and easy to use display
- Carry handles (needed!)
- 5 year warranty!
- Can be expanded with add on battery packs
- Max charge of 2,400w with a combination of AC AND Solar power
- Smart App support allows remote monitoring and control of unit
- LiFeP04 batteries - over 3,000 cycles meaning a 10 year+ lifespan !
- DC charging allows for top up / charging en route to your destination!
Things I don't like:
- Rubber port covers get in the way on the AC side of things - preventing the plug from sitting 100% flush with the unit
- Weight - this things is a BEAST (28.3KG) - but I will be taking it car camping so will be no issue. If not able to lift heavy weights, this may be an issue
- Not cheap, however factor in many years of use and possibility of free solar power and this in time, begins to pay for itself
- No wireless charging
- Only 2 USB C (100w) outputs

Nice look at new product Bluetti power station . Would have seriously looked at buying one if these if I hadn’t already bought a Bluetti ac60 with 2 b80 batteries and 500 watts of solar to charge it. I camp with a fridge, iPad, phone, dvd player and laser projector and led lights. Use gas to cook and boil water. No issues with a 600w inverter with my set up and a weeks camping uses less than 3 kw/h which is indefinitely sustainable with solar even in 🇬🇧

If that's the expansion batteries, I think it does - there is a port on the side. To be fair though, it's insanely big as it is and at 2048wh would you need much more?
Hey man, you make a video about anything you want and we will watch it. I own the ac180 and just bought this, as a matter of fact, it is on my porch from the delivery. My only concern is the other cable you need to purchase to get it up to 2400 watts for charging from the wall. We can't find the cable over here. I emailed Bluetti, so hopefully they answer with good news.
Mine came with that here in the UK. I'd never need to charge up with 2400w but that's pretty impressive. This unit will keep us going easily for our car camps!

Ordered on launch day - going to use it for the off grid garden bar for lighting, tv, soundbar and router. 860w of solar on the roof so it should manage all that.

@@MCMOutdoors I assume this will power the average 50” TV for hours and hours? I’m working on the assumption of a 100w TV and using it for 2-3 hours whilst the football is on
@intothemultiverse1033 without doubt - that air fryer test is a good one - 2,450w + for around 8 mins with no power lifting needed
