• My Favorite '90s Perfu...
I agree we need more videos of classic perfumes, I'm so tired of hearing about the same old same old & hating on the older scents
All facts...
My favorite fragrance decade is the 80’s. Actually my favorite everything was in the 80’s😂
Lmao. Things were OF great quality.and done with love...that's the reason behind your preference ☺.
Me too. Ysatis Givency and Diva Ungaro and Beautiful EL.
@Guess Who I really like Colors by Benneton
@@nancymarkiewicz3195 ysatis! I loved that. How about Paris, Lou Lou, sand and sable, obsession, cinnabar
My favorite from back then, 90's I believe is Escape"from Calvin Klein.. It's such a beautiful floral fragrance. I love it.
I wore Curve by Liz Claiborne when I first started teaching in the late 90's. It was one of the most exciting times in my life...Just moved into Manhattan, single, night life, working life, the time when I felt my most attractive! I wore Curve to work and always received compliments on the way I smelled. I've worn all that you have here. My grandma wore Pleasures. She was stunning and modern, dressed beautifully. She once bought me a bottle and I will always feel connected to her when I smell it. One of my late 80's early 90's favorites was Amarige by Givenchy.
I would die of nostalgia overload if I smel Amarige lol. Organza too.
I recently bought that for nostalgic reasons. My step mom had it in her collection and I always sprayed it on me. I won't even start on my mother...she literally had me with whatever was hot at the time and I didn't realize it until this year. I'm a true fragrance lover since very early in life.
Elizabeth Arden sunflowers 🌻
Jessica McClintock is still beautiful to me after all these years! It lasts forever too!
Wow
Yasssss Gap!!! Omg! So crazy, so I purchased Gap perfume Heavenly and Dream More for $11.99. I kept Dream More in my center console in my car. Tragically, my car was broken into and they TOOK IT!?!! I was so sad. I have not found them at Ross anymore, such a good price.
LMAO...hey thieves are just thieves. Like why would u steal that??? 😆. Funny and sad all at the same time.
WOOOWW...AMAAAZING VIDEO SHANA 👏. I LIKED USING CK1 BACK IN THE DAY. I LOVE THIS VIDEO....AND YOU'RE RIGHT. A LOT OF RUclipsRS DONT BRING THIS KINDA CONTENT. JUST THE SAME OLD HYPED UP FRAGRANCES. YOU'RE A GEM ON HERE 🥰😍❣❤🧡💯.
Aaaww thank you. I'm sure they just forgot about these older gems 🤗.
Agree!
Shi is one of the prettiest fresh scents ever! I love it so much for high heat!
I see no lie here ✔😊💕
My mom wore pleasures all the time. By that design was a classic memory. I always go back to old scents like curve and curve crush are in my collection. I am also obsessed with Exclamation! The powdery softness is everything! I just picked up Shi and can’t wait to pair it up.
I bought my first and second bottles of Cool Water during this quarantine, while I'm working from home. But one of my favorite 90's scents was Chloe Narcisse. It was a heavy hitter and compliment getter. 🥰
Never tried it....always thought I wouldn't like it just looking at the bottle. Did the same thing with FIfth Avenue and Design and it turns out that I judged wrongfully...lol. i learn not to judge a perfume by its bottle lol. Will try...Thanks!💕💕💕
Chloe Narcisse is AMAZING AND DISCONTINUED 😭. My step mom at the time used to wear this and I would sneak sprays lol
Omg that was my moms scent
@@ShanaJ Design is my all time favorite! It's so hard for me to find anything different that I enjoy.
I just bought some Chloe Narcisse because people rave about it. It smells soapy to me...which usually means there are aldehydes in it...but none are listed on Fragrantica.
I also got Chloé Karl Lagerfeld (which has a different formula than current Chloé) and I like it much better.
Tommy Girl was my scent from this time period. It was my first grown up perfume I bought and I used it to death when I was in high school.
I love that fragrance. Layering it with Coty Vanilla Fields will have your nose in heaven
Try Tommy Hilfiger Loud.
My mother always would wear pleasures growing up. It reminds of her. We don’t have the closest relationship but I’m thinking of buying it because it’s the sweetest memory I have of hear. Good video ❤️
Aaawww...i love smelling it on ppl. I'm sure she smelled gorgeous. I enjoy it on others.
Why are u doing this to meeeee lol, I literally have a cart full of 90s 2000s perfume in my fragrancenet cart for a week now that I didn’t want to check out 😩. But it’s Too late now, just did. Peer pressure lol
I helped u out sis! Lol. You will NOT regret it. Thank me when you get your wonderful package💕.
Hi, I have just subscribed and I see you talk about different fragrances!
Most you tubers talk about Scandal, Coco Chanel, Light Blue, mon Guerlain etc.
I 'm happy I have found a young person who talks about vintage perfumes.
My favorites still remain Dolce Vita by Christian Dior. Love by Cloe, Tresor, Beautiful as well as Eau de Givenchy or Fiji by Guy Laroche and Premier Jour by Nina Ricci.
Thanks for sharing
Love from hot 🇬🇷 Hellas!
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Just saw this. Thank you so much!
I enjoyed this video. My favorite perfume in the 90's was Pleasures. I used to get so many compliments when I wore it. In early 2000, I loved Marc Jacobs' original perfume. It was the one in the square bottle with the faux leather ribbon around the top. These days, I think Pleasures smells a little dated. But, I still wear the Marc Jacobs perfume. I will always have a bottle in my collection...for nostalgic reasons.
Honey I'm with you I love me some throwback fragrances I really don't buy alota fragrances that come out newly I don't like to smell like everyone else
Period lol...
Eternity by Calvin Klein is my favorite from the 90s
Eternity CK is unbeatable!!
Perfection and uniqueness. ❤️👌🏻
Shi by Alfred Sung is my Signature Scent! I get compliments allll the time. Its the only scent i wear🤗 Thanks for sharing
My favorite perfume Burberry women, it came out in 1995, but I purchased my first bottle in 2005/2006. That's when I fell in love with perfumes. I like the house of Burberry perfumes period. I haven't found any of their fragrances that I did not like. Some maybe a little too strong but I manage. As always another great one! ❤
I loved Cool water back in the day, I still have a small bottle, but now I'm in love with the new intense version, although it doesn't smell like the original, it's delicious
Currently have Shi, Design, Ellen Tracy, and Cool Water. I love them ALL! Enjoyed the video 😊
Love your taste 🤗💕💕💕.
I absolutely LOVE all 10 of theses scents AND i still have a few of them lol. I have about 3 diff curves in my collection ,my favorite one was curve vintage . You're right they don't make Perfumes that way anymore but hey that was back when they weren't making ALL the Perfumes to smell the same! these days the higher ends are smelling so much alike which is WHY it's easy for YOU to compare a celebrity scent and find US a dupe lol 😂😂😂 SOOOO thank you 😘 be well and safe 🙏🏼
Facts lol. I'm trying to stay open minded with these new releases but it's hard. It's hard to even differentiate between them. So annoying 🙄.
@@ShanaJ LMFBO 😂😂 my point exactly but Shana you're old school ,been on here a long time do I trust you and my girl Rhonda to sniff it out and you ladies haven't failed us yet 😉😎
I love love love Curve too. Also Curve Crush. Shi, i had the body spray and loved. But I have to get Noa quick fast and in a hurry ASAP!!!!. I use to adore Noa Fleur but discontinued of course and costs arm and leg now!! Smdh! And yes Ikr yes they dont make perfumes like they use to. It seems like people are afraid of complex florals! everything is sweet wanna be niche coffee types or super sweet; smells the same! What happened to the Miracles, Very Irristibles Lancome Hypnose, Moschino Glamours etc! Then they wanna charge prices thru the roof for such basic scents
@@eaudenikita2641 all the curves are still a classis and so are the ones you mentioned but honey miracle was in a class all by herself and she can hold her own against some of these newer ones now 😉 but you'll get ur head busted trying to buy one of these classique olds schools lol💵💵💵
Omg yes, pleasures was my jam!! Got it for Christmas when I was 16 and was my fav scent for so long!!! Nothing like it!! 💜💜 I am 41 now and still live it, live this video nobody talks about these scents anymore!!
Hello Shana. Love the review I have most of those perfumes. Also I have Beautiful by Estée Lauder it came out in 1985. Also I love the perfume Giorgio by Beverly Hills it came out in 1981, Mackie by Bob Mackie that’s a nice smelling one it came out in 1991. You are Awesome keep up the good work.😘
My oldest sister used to wear Design and it smelled so good on her. I love fragrances from the 80s to the early 2000s. My all time favorites from back then are CK One, Alfred Sung Forever & Jewel, Giorgio of Beverly Hills Wings and Elizabeth Taylor White Diamonds. TFS💕
SHANA J, you've introduced me to what is now one of my favorite perfumes that I walked by all the time, for years, in the discount stores, and finally bought: Paul Sebastian's Design! It's such a clean, beautiful, long-lasting tuberose-civet scent that positively sparkles between the heady tuberose and the animalic civet. Thank you SOOOOOOOO much for introducing me to this gorgeous perfume! And thank you so much for your videos and your continued research!
And this is why I do this 🤗❤. I'm glad you enjoy Design as much as I do :)
I loooved a lot of these u mentioned esp Curve, Pleasures, Candies. I also used to love Liz Sport. I tried to have everything in the original Curve & Liz Sport. Also loved The Healing Garden lavender & Coty Cherry Vanilla. Tfs!
The healing garden orange blossom is a forever favorite!!!
Girl! You forgot to mention Wings by Giorgio Beverly Hills. Perry Ellis 360 White. Sunflowers by Elizabeth Arden. Tommy Girl by Tommy Hilfiger. I’m sure there’s plenty more. The oldies were the goodies
Nahhh lol. I left most of the ones you mentioned out because they're in part 1. I linked that video in the description box.
I have all but Wings.
I purchased Noa not long after it was introduced, and I still purchase it. It is gorgeous. Pleasures I purchased not long ago, one of the few EL you can get at the drugstore for a decent price. It too is lovely. I'm on a budget, so can't spend very much on perfumes. Appreciate reviews like this, so thank you. I see Cool Water and Jessica McClintock on the cheapie shelves at the drugstore, and have often wondered if they would be worth trying. Not everyone can afford to pay hundreds of $$ on the very expensive designer and niche perfumes that are reviewed all over utube.
What about Navy and Vanilla Fields?
I miss those 2.
I have t smelled Navy for like 20 years or so,’but one whiff would take me right back .
I miss it
My signature scents from the 80s-aughties :
- 80s- Electric Youth by Debbie Gibson (don't hate me, I was 10 😄)
- 90s: Clinque Happy, CK one, Tommy Girl and GAP Dream and Heaven. Also Bath and Body Works Cucumber Melon and Sun Ripened Raspberry
- Early 2000s: Issay Miyake L'eau d'Issay, Thierry Mugler Angel (barf!), Victoria's Secret Very Sexy
-Late 2000s: DKNY Be Delicious, Viktor&Rolf Flowerbomb
Does anyone remember when BBW started out? Their Warm Vanilla Sugar had rice note which I loved so much. Ofc BBW removed rice, such a shame. All perfumes were so dense and so projecting during these decades, got your money worth. Most perfumes now are so watered down especially when big companies buy fragrance houses
The closest BBW scent I've found that smells like Warm Vanilla Sugar used to smell in the old days is Sweet Whiskey.
Love your RUclips channel 🙂
Very creative and unique! I love the diversity of fragrances and your personality is so refreshing.
Great perfume choices! Thanks 👑
Thank u so much! I'm glad your enjoying the content 😊💕💕.
I used to wear Alexander Julian which is discontinued now. I used 2-3 bottles of this in my early teenage years. Loved it. I also wore Beautiful back in the 90s. Now I think it was a grown up scent for my 13-14 year old self but I remember it being so good. Now, I feel it doesn’t smell the same. Back in the day, it was a lot better. I feel that now it does not smell as expensive as it did back then.
I grew up in the 80s and 90s so I love these scents! Clean soapy florals are my jam. I am so glad I found your channel- just subbed.
Welcome and thanks for joining the fam!
I just picked up Ex’Clamtion and Gloria Vanderbilt Liz Claiborne 80’s fragrance today! Great video I’d like to buy a few from this video🥰👏🏾👏🏾
I bought the Design after watching your video and I love it. It smells like a high-end beauty salon to me.
Lol...exactly!
Now that you say something it does smell like freshly blow dried hair lol in a good way
I love Design. Whenever I wear it I get compliments from both men and women.
Love this! Candies, Romance, Pleasures, Heavenly, Curve, and Ellen Tracy were all my signature scents at some point back in the day. Your video brought back so many memories. 😊
🤗
Had the same effect on me :)
Yes! I was a Candie’s girl back in the day! Loved it!
Girl you forgot your iconic L'eau d'Issey 😅... by the way, if you want a cheap dupe for Romance try Perri Ellis Reserve! It smells exactly the same and performance is even better on my skin! Loved that video! 😘
Girl I didn't forget! You know I would NEVER LOL. it's in part 1. A lot of the greats are in part 1. I agree...Reserve is a great dipe for Romance 💕💕💕.
I love Esstee Lauder Pleasures! It has always been my favorite but it is not that cheap girl!
Thank you Shana. Great picks! Some of the best scents came out of the ‘80’s, ‘90’s and early 00’s. Emporio Armani Lei came out in 1998. Victoria Secret’s Heavenly is a dupe of Lei. Lei is an edp concentration and longer lasting.
Never heard of this one 🤔. Thank u💕💕💕.
Shana J. Anytime!
The way you described Design so lovingly...I’m definitely ordering that and Casual by Paul Sebastian. Also, I have always wanted to try Candies so...adding it’s to my list as well. I used to wear Guess for women in the silver bottle with the purple/pink liquid. I believe it’s described as a floral...but it’s gorgeous and quite affordable on FragranceNet. Let me know if you try it. Great video 💜
Just got mine ❤
I blind bought Volupte by Oscar de la Renta a few months back and love it! Wonderful yellow floral with a dominant melon note. Classic!
OMG...i LOVE melon in perfumes.
Volupte is so beautiful. 💛
It's a great perfume!
cazadores03 I used to have the original Tresor and I once complimented someone who I thought was wearing it but she told me it was Volupte. Had to check it out and ended up buying it as it was cheaper than Tresor
I always liked Revlon Fire and Ice.
Yes that's another one 👏.
Giorgio wings and Chloe narcisse were my favorites.
Yes, Chloe Narcisse was the first perfume I loved! I smelled it in the flap of a magazine and knew it was love.
My wedding day scent💕 Chloe Narcisse ❤️
Im getting into 90s perfume because of your reccomendation (issey miyake). My next purchase will be alfred sung.
Love this video Shana, girl you're firing! Some of my oldie but goodie are also listed in your part 1. Funny I bought Tommy Girl as a "souvenir" of my past and now, not much is left , it's so different.
My favorite 80s perfume was musk perfumes. Special occasions or night or winter time Red Door, Ardens 5th Avenue, Aspen for Women, Avon Night Musk, Exclamation, Obsession. Everyday or warm weather Jovan white musk, Verve, Vanilla musk, Coty Nautralistic (all of the perfume line 4 types of everyday scents). 90s was The Body Shops Leap which smells like Rain Kissed Leaves by Bath and Body. Anything with freesia or citrus based.
I love Design! It was one of my graduation gifts from my mom and dad in 1991
Curve Crush is my favorite,I need to try the original version
Thanks for such a beautiful video..😊💕 My favorite perfumes ' 90' are Dune - C .Dior , D.Vita- C.Dior and Tresor- Lancome, which I still use..

Wooooww 👏
Fiji by Guy Laroche - my love. Back in the day I would wear it with Design - got loads of compliments. Great one to add to other fragrances.
I love Noa ❤❤ I was able to find a bottle about a year ago. It was discontinued some time ago but brought back
Pleasures smells like after it rains. I never was able to like that one. I wore Beautiful for years, the current Beautiful just not good to me anymore.
YES YES YES 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍I have them all it’s amazing
I remember as a child begging my mom to buy a gift set with multiple miniature fragrances. One of those fragrances was Design by Paul Sebastian. I fell in love with the scent. It takes me back to my childhood every time I smell it. I’ve never smelled anything like it. To me it smells like a mature, elegant woman. Love it😍 .
THEY REFORMULATED GAP DREAM! SUCH A BUMMER. BUT YOU'RE GOOD BECAUSE U HAVE ONE OF THE PRE-REFORMULATED ORIGINAL BOTTLES!!
What's so hard about leaving these perfumes alone??? Just awful.
My faves: Design and Noa!
Yes!! I love my classic perfumes. Exclamation! Is my favorite
I adore Design I wear the vintage formula, quite strong. Love Jessica McClintock also.
Hi Shana, another great review, thank you! I hope that you review vivid by Liz Claiborne. I absolutely love this scent! It smells clean, soapy and a bit lotiony. It is also a powerhouse that just lasts and gets deeper and deeper as it develops on your skin. It's simply gorgeous and I haven't seen anyone reviewing it. It definitely is blind by Worthy for those who love complex florals.
Well you're putting me on so thank u. Sounds like ny kinda scent. I'll look into it...thanks!❤
I loved Ici and alot of Coty perfumes from wayy back in the day. They're pretty hard to find now, tho..I liked Exclamation and Navy alot... I loved Debbie Gibson's Electric Youth so much too. 😍😍😍 I still collect vintage perfumes.
I love Poison, Organza and Opium but can't wear them because they're reformulated and smell different. My memory of them is good enough...I think the originals go for upwards of 100 bux online. Good ingredients cost money I suppose.
I think Design might be what my mom wore! I recognize the bottle. My mom has passed and I would love to bring back that scent of her in my childhood. Wish me luck.
Im trying to find one of my favorite fragrances it was an Escada , it was very sweet and beachy. It was early 2000's
I like your channel. I am getting into perfumes and idk where to start.
My perfumes from 90's - 2000's are Dior - J'Adore, Giorgio Armani - Sensi, Cerruti - 1881, Gucci - Rush, Paco Rabanne - Ultraviolet, Cacharel - Eden, YSL - Baby doll, Kenzo - Flower, Laura Biagiotti- Venezia, Ulric de Varens- Pergolese, Jeanne Arthes - Arome Arthes and I love them till now🥰
Omg, YSL Babydoll! 💗💗💗 I'm devastated that was discontinued 🥺
For me the most nostalgic perfumes are Britney Spears Fantasy and Anna Sui Rock Me I wore them when I was in highschool the bottles are so pretty and very 2000s
That Britney is Bomb!
Wow! So many good ones here 👍🏽
Try 'DUENDE' by Jesus Del Pozo. It is GORGEOUS. you can still buy it but I remember discovering it in the late 90's.
ALSO, try 'JACOMO FOR HER' by Jacomo. I bought this in the late 80's in France, it is so clean, feminine and so beautiful, and you can still buy it also. I would love you to review these 2. I'm in my 60's and your tastes change as you get older, but these are still lovely to me. I promise you, you would love these.x
I like your interpretation of all these great fragrances.
Thank you💕💕💕
I love affordable perfumes thank you for this video.
My favorite shi by Alfred sung
Hey girl..I use Curve all the time.. I have all the rest but never tried the blue one..I will pick it up soon...enjoyed the video..take care
well I can't find your part 1 video but these perfumes stayed like anything. I could smell my perfume the next morning back then. I don't know why that isn't the case anymore, maybe the ingredients? Love so many of these. You should also look into LouLou Cacharel, Poison Dior, Quelque fleurs, Rare Gold Avon, Opium (not the reformulation) and Exclamation.
Thanks for this video Shana. I'll definitely try some those scents out 😘😘😘
Have fun!!!💕💕💕
I only know 6 out of 10 but as an '85 girl, I love Cool Water & Curve!! And VS Heavenly was my dreamy high school go to! Always recieved so many compliments with these 😍😋🤗
Pleasures was my signature scent all through high school. Love that perfume so much. Bring back great memories. I’ve owned so many bottles
Design smells so gooodd. Not perfumey at all.
Currently wearing Design right now. So beautiful and classy!
Love Love Love this video. So reminiscent...took me right back to memory lane. My favorite was definitely Candies!!! A lot of them on your list I definitely used but Candies during my High School years (specifically freshman and sophomore) was my Fav Perfume! My body chemistry was so right with that one. People told me they hated it on themselves but would compliment me with it all the time. So glad Candies made your list. 💞
Who remembers Debbie Gibson's "Electric Youth" perfume?! It was so GOOD. Wore it in 5th grade
Definitely Electric Youth Love's Baby Soft The Blue & Pink bottles Exclamation Colors Liz Claiborne Vivid
what a great video! you introduced me to a bunch of beautiful fragrances i didn’t know. also it’s lovely to watch how excited and passionate you are about each one of the scents. thank you! 🌻
I wore candies, dream, pleasures, abd heavenly. I can't find candies anywhere online I want a bottle for nostalgia. I still love Britney Spears curious. Pleasures is sadly nowhere as good as it used to be ☹
I found Candies on fragrancenet.com. Not sure if u tried there.
I just found your channel. Girl, you are beautiful. And I love the color of your room. It looks so pretty.
I love heavenly. I have been wearing it for years and it makes me so happy. I’ve been told it smells like old lady. but to me, if it makes me happy then I guess I’ll be a happy “old lady.” 😂
OH MY GOD!!!! YOU ARE THE ONLY PERSON TO MENTION MY LIFE LONG SIGNATURE SCENT JESSICA MCCLINTOCK!!!!! WOW!!!!! THANK YOU FOR ACKNOWLEDGING HER!!!!!! we have the same exact taste!! SAME SAME!!!! wow....down memory lane....thank you so much
That's awesome! ❤❤❤
My great aunt who's no longer here that was one of her favorites including Shalamar
GREAT VIDEO TOPIC! Not a lot of fragrance reviewers have covered this! 🤩🙌🏽👏🏽
I love Red Door and White Diamonds lol. So typical lol. And I'm tardy to the party! But I'm here now sis. This video was amazing!
I have several of those perfumes, that Jessica McEntire, and that blue one, I forgot the name oh yeah Shi.
OMG this video smelled like my Mama in the best way possible. So fun!
Searched this video out cuz I’m tired of buying niche fragrances. This spring my bank account told me I can only afford to “treat" myself to designer perfumes lol. Just received my package from the mailman: Tresor, Pleasures, Yellow Diamonds, Banana Republic W all for less than what I typically spend on 1 bottle of Niche 😉
I love that Ellen Tracey one. It smells like a mommy 🥰🥰mmmm. I just wish it lasted.
Tommy girl is straight 2000s for me
Mommy is right lmao. Tommy girl is in part 1...which I did like 2 yrs ago.
Hi!!!! I bought Casual by Paul Sebastian becauseof u. I just received it and I’m so happy with my purchase. All I have to wait for is for the rest of time, longevity. Cool water is beautiful too. Last long
Aaawww....so glad you like Casual!
Design smells grapey like Aussie Hairspray and that’s why I adore it.
Sunflowers and Navy
Thanks for teaching me about perfume you are the best
Oh I'm glad you can learn from watching these videos. Thank you!
I just subscribed too your channel! I love your videos because you explain them so well and I like inexpensive perfume! ❤
If you really like Coco Mademoiselle I love it but there’s a note that is off putting to me. I bought Armaf Club De Nuit Edp it’s gorgeous imo, so close and last longer than Coco. So beautiful. Try it, you may love it and it’s cheap.
