What about Flatter? I'm aware it's not as useful due to it only rasing your target's Sp. Atk by 1, but if you want to run a special attacking Slowbro, it could also work, right?

The Gastrodon Cult Swagger is better just because flatter is +1 and not +2, but +2 off flatter would definitely make that move used more.. for your own Pokémon lol

MrQueerLeader I was thinking the galarica twigs might attract the Mareanie the same way it attracts the Shelder when placed on Slowpokes head, so a crown made from Galarica twigs is more than reasonable.
Its shenanigans like this that are entertaining and funny but it all stops when in your competitive climb you get destroyed by a Quick Draw Crit from Slowbro

Wow! I like your Galarian Slowbro for the fact that it's putting it's higher Atk stat compared to Regular Slowbro to good use! But I'm REALLY intrigued by your Oranguru supporting it! I have my own Oranguru with Symbiosis as well, but I never came up with what strategies would really appreciate its support like yours. If it was fake out priority on first turn after switching could make it a potent revenge killer, especially with shell side arm attacking the lower defense stat against calm minders
@@foofootoo I think it'd be cool if it worked with this fixed rule: on any turn Slowbro did NOT have priority, it gets a special status to get priority next turn. So yes it might be closer to 50% priority, but I think forcing both players to have to work with that in mind is more fun. And it also means it can't get priority on its first move
i use smash pass, to use a mix slowbro with the quick claw to make it insanely fun, in that way i can use his signature move that can be both destroy any non piority user, and even prankster "follow me" to keep him safe also he is named "Fastbro" just for the jokes
I use max health, full sp attack Galar Slowbro with quick claw to boost the ability even more. I give him nasty plot and psychic also. Then my second mon is a bulky whimsicot with protect, tailwind, and i give it the item psychic seed and Protect to set up nasty plot, and tailwind for rest of the team set up, and too buff the speed just in case quick claw or the ability doesn't go off (so it may outspeed some Pokemon)

Honestly didn't know that about she'll side arm and the dynamax mechanic. That's pretty unfortunate. Would've been great if it had the ability to retain its ability in dynamax.

I intended it to be Brave, if it's Adamant that was a mistake xD but I guess with Quick Draw and Quick Claw it'll move first anyway. Max Mindstorm is a physical move based off Zend Headbutt

You won't go first if and only if you miss both rolls, so if we multiply the probabilities of missing them together, we get 0.7 * 0.8 = 0.56 which means that Quick Draw + Quick Claw gives you a 44% chance of going first.

That's interesting! I found most people wanted to prevent Trick Room so they generally targeted Oranguru and I would usually get the Belly Drum off. You could try the Togekiss pairing to get off a Belly Drum and put on pressure in the early game, but you won't be moving first very often. You could also put Protect on Slowbro over a coverage move so you can Trick Room and Protect on turn one then Belly Drum the next turn?
Did anyone mention about Scyther? Dual Wingbeat with Technician, Eviolite and Roost, alongside Swords Dance make him pretty potent with a STAB 120 BP move.

I agree it's not necessary, but it is good contingency in case your opponent stops Trick Room with Taunt or Imprison for example. You still have a very good chance of moving first

Wouldn't Shell Side Arm be preferable over Poison Jab? It's got higher base damage, a better chance to poison, and after Bro gets off its Belly Drum it's always going to be using Shell Side Arm as a physical attack anyway (unless you're punching a Stonjourner perhaps).

I want to enjoy competitive but every battle I enter it’s a first turn gigamax life orb cinderace or charizard or the same but with venasaur, only spamming one button with no strategy, and I can’t really do anything because all my team gets erased from one attack, also it happens the same with full OU teams, no one likes to think a little bit like you and enjoy using every Pokémon with new and creative strategies, also searching how to destroy this people, ideas?
