Holy crap!!!! I was in st Marten 3 times between 95 and 98 in the navy. I drank about 347 caribs in my time there. I still tell people about it. Most refreshing beer ever!!!!!!!!
I went today and had a 2 slice pizza lunch, I thought 2 bites and I have no rules, I gave it a 7.8 . Thanks Dave you inspire us to rate the pizza we eat .

Any beer that "tasted like water" is intended to be drank at room temperature. I have had a few of those. They taste like water when cold but at room temperature they taste like an excellent, full-bodied beer

Speaking of Carib and the French side in St Martin, best restaurant on the island is Bistrot Caraïbes. No pizza, but you and girl would love that place Dave. Was just there in February - 10/10.

Review of Carib beer from Beeradvocate: Score 66 = Poor. Yes, Dave is definitely their biggest fan.
I have never had that beer and probably never will. To me, anything that comes in a clear bottle means it was filtered through a skunks ass . But I also like heavier beers and that stuff is just not appealing.

Bro I skipped to the review and saw the 9.7 first and my mind was blown for a second
I had my 1st Carib beer in 1983 on the sands of Point Salinas airstrip in Grenada. Locals would see US 82nd paratroopers and give us free beers. They were very nice, friendly people and very grateful for us being there. Made you feel like a million bucks. I agree it's not the best beer in the world but the memories it brings back make it one of my favorites. Just a sip and I am back into 80's music, being a strong fit teenager with an M16A1 in my hands and a .45 on my hip... standing on a beautiful multi blue colored Caribbean sea beach ...82degrees...on a Caribbean island. I have found places serving it from time to time but nothing near home. I wish they had it here...# FKbudlight

*spoiler alert* That bottle likely came from the Carib USA bottling plant in Florida. Not sure if it's the same quality and taste as Grenada, Trinidad etc. Probably varies plant to plant.
Next time you’re in Los Angeles you should go to “Tomato Pie Pizza Joint”, in South Pasadena.

Im in grenada rn for school and can confirm carib is good, but stag is the general go to for most people here
