Though those are two very good singers, neither of them sound like Cee-lo.
Reaper BK201 There are some songs that shouldn't be covered by someone that has a wildly different voice than the original artist.
This is one of them.
Secondly, you can't compare ability between people with different styles of singing. That's like comparing the abilities of a folk guitarist to a metal guitarist.
If you want to make a cover that sound as the original, what's the point to it? Listen to the original. The cover SHOULD BE a new song, or else it's bullshit.

The quality of LaVance's singing is mind-blowing.
Every single one of PMJ's singers is fantastic, even the backup. The backup singers are as good as the main vocalist, which is incredible.
I’m pretty sure both those ladies have done their own recordings with PMJ.

I love the Cee Lo Green original and I think LaVance has done a fantastic job, this arrangement is great. It's got attitude! Love it.

Forget You alone already gives such an old vibe but you made it so much more vintage and I love it so much.
I just LOVE PMJ. Their arrangements are always so great, and I have heard so many phenomenal vocalists for the first time when they are performing with PMJ. I am always delightfully surprised and entertained.
So far right into the video the arrangement is more 50's with early 60''s. My Grandpa played with Guy Lombardo back in the late 30's and so he gave me a great and deep appreciation and knowledge of that era of music.

That's the thing I love about the 20's to the 60's. Everything they wore, did, and said, was with class. Sure, this song is about breaking ties with people who may have screwed you over, but there's no need to swear in any song. Swearing ruins depth in songs in my opinion, and you can interpret plenty of emotions without swearing. There's plenty of love songs out there that have swearing in them that are completely unnecessary and ruin the song. Thanks PMJ for having some class. Love the outfits and the singing

Well, I for one am very glad they preformed this version of the song. My 4 year old son and I love dancing around to PMJ, if they sang the uncensored version I wouldn't be adding it to our playlist!

nice cover. For anyone thinking that they should have used the original uncensored lyrics, keep in mind that those words were. not widely used in the 1930's. F*U"C"K" was an acronym used by sailors. (of course Xbox./Atari wasn't either)
