7:39 if you go super fast the gun truck clips through the building that you would run into if you didn't turn. You can do the same without a mod by immediately stomping and then drift boosting next to the wall. Doing that makes you go really fast so that's why it happens.

I actually did go to try Super Sonic, but for some odd reason, every time I activated the mod, it said I had only done up to Crisis City and I haven't completed the game. This doesn't happen when I turn the mod off and the game is completed so... *shrugs* Sorry!
it's probably because by default sonicGMI will use a separate save file when you have mods activated. i think there's a checkbox titled "enable save file redirection" that you can toggle to make it work again.
