Sooo first of all the Modern Sonic sprites and animation (as in, in game sprites, no menu) were made by Hortinus he's dope asf Also, the 3D model do have a proper "running / boosting" animation, when you reach Mach 3, considering the animation was literally named "jog", I (attempted) made a jog animation (mostly based on colors, but it kinda ended up... eeeeeehhh) As for the "Bubble wisp", he actually have a second underwater use, where you can automatically rise to the surface (floating) Now, for the "they all allows you to get higher" argument... it's actually true ! the reason is mostly because of the limits (this isn't ASM hacking by any means, this is memory editing only, the whole thing) Altho they all have a reason, Burst was for the platforming, easier platforming (it takes a big chunk so it wouldn't be too OP), Bubble is mostly to dodge obstacle underwater or help to rise up to the surface quicker in case of low air and Hover is mostly to go anywhere, if you have to drop down at some point and don't wanna risk it, it's a viable option, since you can go in every directions (and that's why it drains it really quick as well) Anyway, glad you enjoyed the mod quite a bit :p
Oh, and I hear there is (or was) a funny little glitch where if you get damaged while Red from the Burst Power, you'll turn into you-know-who outside of water until you use a wisp once more.
If you choose the no ring option, there is limited boost, but it doesn't require rings. ALSO! To the creator of this mod! Could you add a shield sign right next to the word "boost" so we know which wisp we have? It would also help to have the corresponding objects ( for example burst uses flames)

The only thing that wasn’t changed in the whole ROM hack: when you want to turn around the other direction while running (try pausing when redhotsonic does so).

And also the super sprites are suposed to be the ones from the ultra instinct sonic mod (by hortinus) but with the super palette
So, you mean, that you used Codename Gamma's formula and Hortinus's original mod to make the boost/wisp patch?
Shadow The Worm he used hortinus sprites (with permission) and made his own Boost/Wisps code
The whole coding has been made by myself, no piece of code have been taken from Codenamegamma.

Mods are only available on PC, not the Switch or Xbox. On PC, you use Sonic Mania Mod Loader which contains instructions.

That explains why it's replaced the Water shield then. I should have checked but I never found that certain Wisp during Hydrocity lol.
