Geeesh well now that is my favorite video. Very deep both literally and figuratively. Oooh that Hermit Trail seems very scary.

Thank you, I remember! I will hope to edit my footage of that snow soon. We ended up having a great condor sighting on our way up Bright Angel. Hope you enjoyed the rest of your hike.

Great video. The Hermit trail seems much more wooded than the Bright Angel Trail or South Kaibab Trail. I would be most apprehensive about hiking the Grand Canyon in the rain for fear of slipping. When I hiked up Bright Angel Trail this past Sept 1, 2021--I ran into two brief rain squalls; fortunately, I had brought a poncho, but still uncomfortable hiking condition.

Thank you. Hermit is well wooded especially in the Waldron Basin Section. The monsoon was so big this year, a lot of dangerous hiking days.

Thank you! I'm hoping to find the time to make more. I'm seeking possible sponsorships. 2024 I will lead a blind hiker named Michael McCulloch Rim 2 Rim through the Canyon, and I'm going to see if I can get some brands to sponsor one of my docs.

Great video Krocky! Steve, Grainger and I made it to Indian Garden Campground just as the thunderstorm arrived. It looked like a river was running through camp, and the noise from the wind and lightning was deafening. It blew through quickly. We hiked out the next day and drove to the North Rim where we hiked down to Cottonwood CG for another glorious night in the Canyon. That completed our traverse of the Rim to Rim hike that we attempted in March 2021.
We enjoyed meeting you and think often of the enjoyable time we had at Monument Creek CG. I hope we meet again. Happy Trails,
    Wayne

Incredible! I'm glad this video found you, and happy you guys made it through that storm. That's a lot of Canyon hiking you guys pulled off. Inspiring. Hope to see you on the trails too.
