Well, although some Nail Gun have use Blank rounds for velocity assist...
Nail guns are designed to not fire unless there's pressure against the muzzle, specifically to prevent it from being used as a weapon. Blank-firing nailguns are single-shot, have the same safeties as pneumatic nailguns, and are meant to shoot a nail through concrete.
