So fortunate are we to view this! Thanks
fantastic music
Serious stuff. Tight
The first tune's a version of a Breton slide (12/8) called 'Son Ar Rost' - literally 'The Roast' their equivalent of a piping in the haggis tune. Think it was written by Herri Leon. Second tune's the Spike Island Lasses, a reel.
Paul and David Garner Irish music second tune is “sporting paddy”
Cracking stuff
GREAT !!!
Wonderful performance , great music
ARRGH! Choke! Gorgeous! Wonderful!! I've just gotta get over there next year!
Mighty stuff lads!
love it man
There's "Sporting Paddy" in there too before Spike Island Lasses.
There's another version of Son Ar Rost by my band, Choonz, here Irish Music - Low Whistle and Fiddle - Paul & David Garner - "Husky's" (second tune in the set)
Really great stuff, but the audience should be Dancing! Something like that played in France and the dance floor would be packed.
cool:)
Encore faut-il connaître les danses irlandaises!!
anyone know the name of the jig they start with? it's really nice!
Andrew McKay it’s called Son Ar Rost
WEEHOO
Anyone have the names of the two reels?
Difficult to keep still😁
Just heard, you'd give that Crehan family a run for their money and not only that you give our Irish pub a run for their money to they don't even know what they are::::))) Welcome to Australia
Is John playing a set of C pipes?
Jared Ross nope
