My favorite Lincoln on the list is the 1956 Lincoln Premiere, particularly the Coupe. I have owned mine since May of 2023. My 1956 Lincoln Premiere Coupe is painted Amythest with a Starmist White roof and a matching leather interior. It is truly a gem and a keeper. It is a very lofty riding vehicle with tremendous torque and power coming from the 368 V8 engine putting out 285 horse power.

I had a 1978 Lincoln Continental Bill Blass edition! It was such a Luxurious Vehicle and the Bill Blass designer touch made it even more so!

I have owned my 1970 Mark lll since 1985 and love it just like the day I bought it as a used car when I was only 19 years old. Same owner for 40 years now!!

My grandfather used to tell me you could balance a dime on a 16 cylinder Lincoln. The pistons were only 2 inches wide.

I think it's odd that Lincoln never revived the Zephyr nameplate, and, two, never made another roadster.

The classic Lincolns from '61 to '66 were not shown. And why not the 4-door convertible? There's lots of footage to choose from!

I'd rather have one Mark II convertible than ten Versailles.

When talking about the 50 Lincoln Cosmopolitan, why are you showing the 52 - 53 Lincoln?

my 1956 lincoln priemer has the headlight bezel is designed like the 1955 concept car, that became the t.v. batmoble. my body has been put on the frame of a 1969 t-bird, with the '69 cobra jet 429 c.i. and c-6 auto trans. and, upgraded the suspension to coil springs front and rear, power disc brakes in front and dual master cyl. the rear wheel openings had to be moved forward about 4", and the rear fenders and trunk lid had to be shortened by 20", to fit the t-bird trunk floor pan. i named it the "bat-rod" hotrod.

As for the missing 70s Continentals and Town Cars, I must say, It's HUGE! It guzzles gas! It pollutes the air! It scares the birds! Other cars part like the Red Sea to get out of the way! What's NOT to love? 😊

Icons? I don't think the more modern cars belong here. I've collected Lincolns for 30 years, and the absence of the Mark II and the Mark VIII, not to mention the 61-69 convertibles in favor of the Versailles and the LX, just isn't right.

LINCOLN, what a Luxury CAR should be and ONCE was! 🏆 Having owned 78 Town Coupe, 89 Town Car Signature Series, and several GRAND MARQUIS 👌, I find today's SUVS to be Peasant bloated glorified trucks masquerading as Luxury vehicles at bloated prices. So, I'm on to VERSAILLES 😉 in my 2007 Town Car Signature Limited, the last gasp of traditional American Luxury CARS.

Why do you keep showing a 41 Mercury when talking about the 39 Lincoln Continental, which was a one-off car? The production version of that car came out for 1940, not 39.

Today’s Lincoln is clearly unrecognizable and extremely disappointing! Cadillac, in my opinion is America’s luxury car. But their commitment to making their cars more sporty with unnecessary technology, instead being more luxurious, with performance; is heartbreaking.

The original Lincoln Zephyr, 1936 - 39, not 40, was not really a luxury car, it was a medium priced car intended to enlarge Lincoln's market coverage. It's V12 was only noteworthy for meduim-priced cars. It was too small and not powerful enough to be a proper luxury car engine. The 1940 Zephyr was a more upmarket car and it's V12 was larger as well
