Scotland and Norway are busy dealing each other, and if the cities you leave behind in Ireland rebel, it will take the Irish pretty long to consolidate the island.

@@RockyX123 Empire wasnt that bad
4:16 Units do recover fatigue, it just takes awhile and you have to either stand them still or walk them.
Return to me my green and "Peasant" lands. Hard to recruit and afford upgrades with low cash, forcing one to loot and be less chivalrous riskign the ire of the cardinals and el Popeye-Harry the king, Bedford and Exeter,Warwick and Talbot, Salisbury and Gloucester,
Be in their flowing cups freshly remember’d. on sweet and pleasant lands again
this one was very fked, not just because of the situation, but the fact it's turn fkin 90 on a campaign that should be done by turn 60.
well done again legend
Glad to see a part 2 for this SYDC
Seems like a lot of fun, is there a way we can also try out these disaster campaigns. Is there a storage out there?
Good idea, someone should make a thread on the Total War forums or the subreddit for sharing disaster saves. But then Legend would be out of a job lol
@@KamikazeCommie501Nah, he doesn't care about the competition.
He even encouraged MercyTheMad to do some disaster campaign/battle stuff. Doesn't seem to have taken off like it did with Legend tho
The AI takes revenge on Legend for blobbing up in a defensive position against an all melee army.
The Legend’s giggle whenever he executes prisoners is music to my ears. Can we have more Medieval 2, please?
When playing the Britannia campaign as England, I've found the most effective strategy to be abandoning Ireland entirely, mobilizing everything you can without compromising public order, and crushing Wales ASAP (they're the type of threat that starts out small but builds momentum as they go). Scotland and Norway are busy dealing each other, and if the cities you leave behind in Ireland rebel, it will take the Irish pretty long to consolidate the island.
Thanks for the second episode for this disaster. I can see what the submitter meant by Welsh army after Welsh army. Too bad that first turn took so long, as your episode left me feeling cheated that we did not get to see you taking Oxford, Winchester and Shaftesbury. Perhaps there were more mercs available for two of 'your' forces, It's not an immediate defeat staring the submitter in the face, so it's a pity you'll not be able to justify a part three. I remain convinced that the Scots will DoW England, which will massively tip the balance against the submitter.
Legend's laugh after executing prisoners is always funny
Fatigue recovers in Medieval 2 but it takes a long time.
10K views in 1 hour for a follow up video in M3. Shows how much people still love this game.
Yeah boyyy, what a way to start the week
Funny how Legend finds out about the army at the fort last minute
im not sure if it's something you'd be interested in but i would highly recommend the mod Divide and Conquer v. 5 for M2TW, seriously my favorite total war of all time.
always a fan of medieval 2
I love the AI in Medieval. Seems more human. Sometimes it has really good ideas but feels fun when it derps out because the mistakes seem more human. Instead of constantly reforming or just braindead blob on one unit they get baited by what would seem an easy target for them.
Imagine the game we'd have if CA worked from its baseline, rather than reinvented going the other direction.
It's so much better to see something else than just WH3 after all this garbage that happened
High Dread = Enemy Units Run away
High Chivalry = Your Units don't run away
If you have high enough chivalry, and morale boosts from general, they won't retreat even if he dies.
this made me fire up a Britannia campaign. The English can be tough! you go into debt almost instantly doing any recruiting to protect yourself from the immediately-aggressive Irish & Welsh. If you overtax your settlements to compensate, barons revolt. Immersive.
OMG Medieval II, lets gooooo!
