Just quick note, when I fix lightly rusted areas like you're fixing there where you have cancer eaten away at the steel real light holes and real thin Steel I use brass and braze it in so much easier and just a way better finish you can get the brass to flow so you don't have a big glob when you mig weld it or have to make Packers to go in behind the hole and welded up like that you know the rods are cheap you can get them any welding supply shop tractor supply Lowe's Home Depot you want a flux brass brazing rod .... Man I love seeing these things getting rust repair. I miss my old HF, I had a 91 mini-me/franken-d swapped one that was awesome! Had a Z6 swapped 89 ED hatch as my last Honda and damn do I miss those 2 cars more than any other vehicles I've owned.
I know nothing about Honda’s but have a 95 civic hatch and a 96 coupe, any suggestions for a young 52 year old that loves muscle cars but really dig Honda’s there my new love. Keep up the good work love the junkyard videos.

To preserve your rear quarter panels, i oil them every year.
Oil them? Yes, in the trunk above the shock tower, there are 2 little square holes (8x8mm)
Its just behind the plastic square cover.
Use a plastic tube en you oil can, en pump some oil in the the bottom hole.
If you did it right, oil comes out both sides of the wheel arch.
Clean up the spilled oil, ready!

Always use weld thru primer before you weld or itching primer after your weld is grind off on a panel. You can use any bondo primer paint and clear, without the first material i mentioned on top, rust will come back again in the rain season 😉
Hey I was wondering if there’s a difference in the p08-5 and the p08-2 d16z6 head because I had the p08-2 on originally but one of the valves seemed to be leaking so I put on the p08-5 and the timing belt has a lot more slack than it did before so I’m not sure if one is bigger than the other

Yo can anyone help me out. I have been in the process of k swapping my 97 ek hatch. K24a2 with matching trans. Using element harness and ktuner with ebay conversion harness. I did follow the vtec academy ktuner conversion and fixed up the element harness for the c101 plug to work. My problem is, for some reason I do not have ground to my main relay and because of this, my ecu and fuel pump won't turn on. Would I be able to safely run the car just by adding a chassis ground to the main relay plug or do I need to wire the main relay ground from somewhere in the harness? My understanding is this should have been plug and play so I dont know where I lost the ground for that relay.

Why not just completely remove the taillight instead of masking? That way you can sand on the inside some and avoid spraying primer on the lights? I did like that your still using Leo's old door to use same Honda metal for repair work.

I always use the target app and to drive up pick up. Target always got cat food and if your normal one doesn’t it’ll let you know where they do. I’m in Hayward obviously to far to just go buying car food but my local targets always got cat food decent prices too I feed my cat and a couple strays and your occasional raccoon gets to it too lol. I normally buy a 22lbs bag and it last a while
no cat food? buy tuna cans, they love it too,eheheheh ;)
