    Satish Kumar belongs to a farming family in Tamil Nadu.. He is a high school dropout. After that he used to help his father in the milk business.
    But their business is already in losses.
    Then he came to know three main problems in their milk business.. The first is that they are not able to take high margins due to lack of proper value addition to the milk they sell. So they earn only 30ps to 1r per liter. It is only 3 to 5% margin in the milk sold and sometimes it has to be sold at a loss.
    Secondly, milk has a shelf life of only three to four days. So they have to sell the milk within 10 hours of milking.
    The third thing is that for some reason, the logistics were very difficult for them, so they could not expand their business.
    So Satish Kumar recognized these and how his milk business grew into a 2000 milk chemist company.
    As milk is a product that everyone sells, it is produced with a profit margin of only 3 to 5% But the milkymist people collected the milk and turned it into paneer, curd and ghee..
