      I’m not sure we want to resurrect the “gods”, they were all psychopathic sh*tbags, more like demons, than “gods”. Furthermore, the elitist psychopaths ruling over us have subliminally been projecting their own, even worse versions of said dormant forces. And said elitist psychopaths are dangerous enough without their helpmates. Let’s take care of them first, then we can worry about magick. There’s plenty of reasons for the Wars, and primarily the false flags, social engineering, and psyops, which were responsible for destroying religion. The masp shootings are Voice of God tech C.I.A. ops.
      Also, most Germans weren’t into Odin, even the SS celebrated Christmas, regardless of what their own elitist psychopaths did or didn’t do in private (I know they pushed this stuff in public).
      So which is it? We castigate the Nazi elitists for resurrecting the love of their own people and the ancient gods, or we think it was evil? I don’t think there was anything wrong with it at all, god forbid the people learn to love themselves, it’s loving themselves and a false leader and believing they can do whatever he wants them to do that was the problem.

      Nah, Friedman is an uninteresting clout chaser. He is just another influencer who rode Joe Rogan's coattails. That said, he does interview some really great minds.
      You, on the other hand, are searching for the truth. His goal is fame and money to fill the hole in his soul, yours seems more genuine. That's my 2 cents.

    I’ve lived the cultural changes, my folks are boomers. After many of the boomers left their parents old time religion, they also dismissed philosophy with stereo types about naval gazing, and it’s impracticality as related to capitalism. They then went into a spiritual hyper sleep, and many are still in it. Now their kids who grew up on Star Wars, etc. have active inner lives (thanks George) and have now realized the stasis their parents are still in, and it’s STRANGE. The original sin was when these same boomers left their parents traditions, and then embraced hedonism and capital accumulation, egoic Earthly goals, but in opposition and tension with the mystical individuation of the more cosmically self actualized soul prioritizing peace, love, and bliss. Instead of them owning metaphysical innovation.. many now, as they near their ends, the embarrassment of their hyper sleep works against them. It’s not a judgement or a blame game that I’m peddling, it’s just my observations as I’ve lived and felt them.

      I see it a bit differently. I'm gen x (54 yrs old), and my parents were born immediately after WW2. My mother's and father's siblings all remained in basically mainstream conservative Protestant Christianity tightly aligned with a capitalist ethic of the Reagan-Thatcher era. They see themselves as radical individualists who never needed government assistance because the social system was invisible to them. It was hidden like water is from fish. For instance, my grandfather's tire business was maintained on both the supply and demand side by a variety of government subsidies: 1956 interstate highways act, oil subsidies, farm subsidies, coups in Iran, Jakarta, etc. If you ask them about all that, they will simultaneously say they worked for it and never asked the government for help. They didn't need to ask. They also got state university dirt cheap and inherited farm land from the Homestead Act of 1862 which was leveraged for small business loans. My generation (gen x) were raised in a cold war bubble of capitalist TV and no internet. I didn't even know there were critiques of capitalist market ideology until Ralph Nader ran for President in 2000.

      I started to notice the pattern in the movies at about 22. About 22 years ago. I wonder if TV being passive and not interactive played a big role in their generation losing touch with the mystical side of life. I know my 72 year old parents STILL stare into the cable news box for hours every damn night.

    The smallest atomic unit of experience is an impression. An impression is a bundle of qualities received through the 5 senses, which the brain then organizes into something recognizable we call a perception.
    Perception is the brain's identification system; answering the questions of what, who, how, why, where, when, etc.
    The brain derives meaning from the 'drivers': those qualities that change our inner state of Being as they change.
    Someone with a visual driver of distance will feel more or less positive, neutral or negative toward an image moving farther away, becoming smaller and dimmer, and feel the opposite as the image moves closer, becoming bigger and brighter.
    Visual: size, shape, color, distance, etc.
    Audio: volume, cadence, tempo, distance, etc.
    Kinesthetic: pressure, texture, proximity, intensity, etc.
    Perspective provides the context of meaning. Perspectives emerge from 4 primary paired values or metaprograms:
    Inner/Outer
    More/Less
    Better/Worse
    Yes/No
    One who knows when to stop is forever safe.
    Spirit = Being aware of being aware.
    Soul = Integrated Psyche
    Mind = Inspiration
    Heart = Aspiration
    Will = Volition
    Integration = Integrity = Soul
    When the Heart aspires, the Mind inquires and the Will conspires (combines).
    Body = Behaviour:
    The abstract (Heaven) called Love (Firmament) can be expressed concretely (Earth) as a smile, hug, etc, thereby uniting Heaven and Earth.
    World = Magic Mirror: as within, so without.
    God = Life
    Jesus = Humane Humanity
    Christ = at One with Life
    Empty of ego (separateness) = Full of Life
    Holy Spirit = Eternally actualizing Infinite potential
    To actualize potential: dream it, feel it, do it.
    Go to sleep with a compelling quest-ion, wake up with a compelling answer.
    We are here to experience completion of Joy in form, as conscious creative co-equal collaborators with the all-inclusive One.
    Because the One/Life is all-inclusive (Absolute), we are all it to an unknowable/inexhaustible extent, as the facets of a Diamond are 'both' distinct from each other 'and' the Diamond itself.
    Love is the recognition of our shared Being.

    I need this in my life lol.
    This made me think,
    -how did we come here to this planet? As souls/points of awareness the way scientology explains or are there other theories? Plus spirituality and conception. What does time of conception mean compared to time of birth in the context of astrology?
    Peace ✌️

    • @Formscapes
      @Formscapes  9 месяцев назад +1

      Scientology is literally a pyramid scheme and yeah there's lots of other answers - pretty much all of which tend to converge on the same overall picture.
      As for the significance of conception time, afaik there's not any established interpretation of that simply bc it hasn't been practical until very recently to determine conception time with any accuracy.
      There are definitely theories aboit that which you could find online though, but they are very speculative imo.

    • @Formscapes
      @Formscapes  9 месяцев назад +6

      He's got a real knack for seeing into the spiritual underpinnings of the world, certainly. There are issues with how he frames things sometimes however.
      As with many traditionalists, he likes to romanticize the past in such a way that he sees history as no more than a process of degeneration. He can't see why the processes of history which have brought us to our present situation have been necessitated by the unfulfilled promises of the Christ event.
      He isn't seeing that the birth of Christianity is a process which is still ***ongoing***, bc he thinks of it as already completed.

    Indo-European culture is the foundational culture of the western world, and the Indo-Europeans were nomadic and conquering warrior people who valued heroism. All hero are individuals with strong ego resilience. You need a strong and resilient ego to be a war-hero which is the figure that made the west and became the figure of early western mythology. The Asier and Olympian gods both conquered their cosmos.

    Disapponting is the characterization of the Jewish faith as detained by Lex Talionis: whereas the law of proportional response is present in the Torah, even a cursory examination of the Prophets make it quite clear that movement beyond that cycle is at the heart of the tradition: To wit, Yom Kippur, the most important of Jewish holy days, is a day of atonement.

    Hello, this conversation was really interesting and eye opening in so many ways.
    Also i have a question, i feel like in your analysis history "ends" with christianty, what do you think of islam as the new axial world religion you talked about halfway in the video?

    • @Formscapes
      @Formscapes  9 месяцев назад +4

      It's a bit more like history **begins** with the Christ event.
      As far as I'm concerned, Christianity - properly understood - has yet to be born, with the exception of a few notable, isolated groups and individuals. I would not describe any institutional religions as actually being Christianity, and I don't think anyone really has a good idea of what real Christianity will even look like once it does begin to emerge.
      Islam is, as I see it, another still-born form of Christianity just like Catholicism, Orthodoxy, Protestantism, etc; a manifestation of an underlying Christ-Impulse which is attempting to create a genuine Christic civilization, but which has been unable to do so because of the way that such nascent forms of embryonic Christianity are swallowed up and transmogrified by the Ahrimanic/Luciferic forces of our collective psyche.
      This is not to say that Islam - and the other stillborn forms of Christianity - do not have a significant role to play in the path forward, but I do not believe that any of those religions can survive the transformations which will occur over next few centuries.
      I also don't think that what we are headed for is an axial world-religion. I think what we will see is a new phase of human spirituality which will manifest as a wide variety of new religions which will be "Christian", in the sense that they will be animated by the Christ-Impulse. This does not necessarily imply that they will look anything like what we today would recognize as "Christianity" in the institutional/doctrinal sense.

      Idk I'd probably start off by havin em read Nietzsche's The Madman and then moving onto Heidegger's The Word of Nietzsche as a way to segway into Heidegger's overall metaphysics.
      As far as I'm concerned, Heidegger is the only real metaphysician that academia (kinda) takes seriously - even Platonism is regarded more as a museum exhibit than a real metaphysics within academic philosophy, which is one of the numerous reasons I dropped out of school instead of finishing a degree.

    • @Formscapes
      @Formscapes  9 месяцев назад +6

      Anyway, the main reason I'm saying to angle towards Heidegger is bc most of the more esoteric stuff (Gebser, Steiner, Spengler, Goethe, Tarnas, etc) is much more digestible AFTER one already has a firm grasp of Heidegger's work.

    I'm beginning to think that every mystic is his own universe. Krishnamurti, for example. He seems to me to have attained or come into contact with what Gebser would call the Archaic mode of consciousness. However, he also seems to have his own individual attributions to that state. For example (krishnamurti seems to me to posit that: the more people who do self enquiry (as defined by him; which would funnily be more like a "non-doing" enquiry) the more the world will heal and humanity would be free from "the known"; also he talks about "timelessness" and the "cessation of thought", which he identifies with memory, habit, and the antithesis of intelligence (he says thought is not intelligent, but "life" is, "the body" is), etc. It seems to me that the salience of attaining this mode of abyssal, undifferentiated consciousness prompted him to identify it as "Truth" and develop a whole message/"non-message" around it. He says something in the line of "I am convinced that truth is a pathless land"
    However, if you get into the critique that sheldrake made of Krishnamurti, and also if you read the book "lives in the shadow with j. Krishnamurti " you are surprised to discover that his purported state of consciousness, his personal attributions and conclusions about it, and his individual behavior and conduct throughout life are quite disparate.
    Maybe if you get archaic you will preach that there is "really" no self, but if you get integral you will preach that there is "really" only the "super self" or something? Idk I'm just riffing, it's 2:40 AM 😂😂.
    Great convo tho, very thought provoking

    As an individual who has a tremendous amount of interest in and respect for Jordan Peterson’s philosophical views, and having heard from other “Lefty’s” nothing but disdain for him with no respect nor consideration for what he’s actually saying, I have to say the acknowledgment of Jordan Peterson as an intellectual counterpart with valid views - some of which you agree, some of which you don’t - is such a great and unfortunately very rare thing to hear nowadays. I greatly appreciate hearing a philosopher - a real philosopher - who asks questions and considers other ideas, both respectfully agreeing with what is agreeable, and respectfully disagreeing with what is disagreeable.
    The forewording here is certainly not perfect. My apologies. But I have to acknowledge actual intellectuals and philosophers when they present themselves. Your respectful mention of Jordan Peterson is just something that isn’t seen on the left much anymore. I do miss the classic Liberal’s ability to rely on their intellect, philosophy, fact and individual interpretations of them to make a compelling argument, and doing so respectfully.
    I’m not going to simply accept a different worldview, but I likewise refuse to believe that I have any answer to questions which have no definitive answer either. I prefer to hear from all sides so I can make my own informed (or at least less uninformed) decisions as to what to make of this experience and existence. Throughout my journey to grasp onto the very few things that can be considered “real,” I’ve started to dislike so-called answers and embrace questions. When you consider the underlying and overlying metaphysics and extra-dimensional systems in place, the answers to something that seems as obvious as 1 + 1 = (?), becomes exceedingly more complex. If this existence is outside of a metaphysical plane that it’s influenced by, then we cannot truly grasp why the answer is two other than that it helps make sense of objects in our 3-Dimensional space.
    I do agree with this conversation, so much. I have a few videos on my channel (not tryina plug my channel or anything by the way), and I’m trying to do something with it, but I’m not nearly as well-spoken, however the simple point I wish to make is that unconditional Love regardless of political identity (or the individual, which has been recharacterized through post modernity or even hypermodernity, as political identity in my opinion), is literally the only way to come together and find direction and progression instead of the regression we’ve seen recently.
    I don’t know for certain about the validity of reincarnation. I have some memories buried in my brain which I know are not mine, but I also have a very active imagination. I do like the idea that our existence is not individual but as essentially biological “computers” which essentially pull memories from the literal past instead of having an impossibly large amount of hard storage space inside itself. That’s what I got from one of your previous videos anyway, (loved that video as it made me rethink how I view past events), but it does counter the idea of reincarnation in the way we typically view it from our understanding of reality. See? More questions! Questions which are far more interesting than their answers, should any answers actually be possible.
    I would say that our social hierarchy is corrupt. Maybe not by it’s nature, but by it’s altered state. I think the absence of Love and the replacement of it with greed, anger, hate, fear; all much significantly easier emotional states to be in but significantly less unifying to society, is what is destroying society itself. Everyone seems to need to justify their individuality against the crowd to feel like they have a purpose, which manifests as political identity now, when in reality just simply doing your part to help others is a significantly greater purpose than you could ever achieve as an individual; you don’t have to be famous and you avoid the negative side effects of fame while reaping the benefits.
    I could continue, however it is so late here that it is early, so I’ll wrap up. Just thought I’d let you know I’m still watching your content and appreciating the heck outta it. Thank you for another great video! Very well done and very well spoken. I’m a bit hard of hearing so I appreciate the crispness and clearness of your voice. Also it was very nice to finally put a face to these ideas. Anywho, thanks again! I’m keeping an eye out for the next video! Cheers!

      JBP was sort of my "gateway drug" into spirituality, and his work helped me out in a difficult time of my life. But, I eventually had to move past him. He's interested in metaphysics, but he's stuck in the same rational materialist mindset that most Jungians are. He helped me bridge the gap between materialist thinking and spiritual thinking, but as I developed my spiritual understanding and had experiences of my own, I realized that my spirituality was becoming more sophisticated and practical than his philosophy. JBP is held back by his pessimism as well. He's too Saturnian, focusing exclusively on limitations and order, while ignoring possibility. You can tell his history of depression has taken its toll on him and he's never fully been able to move past it. I still have my respect for him, of course. His explosion into fame seemed to have divine, cosmic significance. Something needed to express itself through him and now it's out there. I just don't think he fully knows what that was.

      Friendly public service reminder that reincarnation was unquestioningly believed in by early Christians and most mystical Christian orders (Hermetic, Rosicrucian, etc) well into the Medieval and early modern era (and even in the present day by Anthroposophists)

      The amount of criticism of masculinity right now far outweighs criticism of femininity. I've heard over and over criticism of masculinity all my life and one little comment about women sparks outrage as exampled in these comments, pretty much shows femininity has the upper hand. I agree with John that it needs to be balanced, i respect femininity and masculinity. They are complimentary.

    • @visionfrontier
      @visionfrontier 9 месяцев назад +5

      @@FatEnjoi It is okay to note something. The comments aren't ridiculous by any means. In general, I just think that making a blanket statement like that is just problematic because lived experiences are different. For example, I am a single mom who is impoverished. My lived experience solidifies that the actual reality of difficulty daily that reflects that systems themselves do not facilitate an ease of life for women.
      I feel that people complaining about men on TikTok or any other thing in the domain of social commentary doesn't change the actual infrastructure of implicit sexism. I think that that stuff is still heavily built in to much of industrialized society.
      I agree that every person of every gender expression should have a valued place in society. I think that that is the goal. People saying stuff is surface level, but at a deeper level, there is still a lot of inequity.

    the castration occurs when women replace the husband or father that is gone or absent, (less and less emotionally capable of connection as bases his world more and more in a cold positivism, with no space or time for nothing but material progress, nothing vulnerable , with the son, to whom she castrates from the fear of abandonment that repeats and repeats since long ago.
