Hi, I'm an English language/literature student hoping one day to do their thesis/research on games and narrative. I was wondering if when you say this is your passion, is it about games and stories, or just building games in general?
@@andysabur4966 I do pretty much everything except that just building games in general aka programming. Graduated an art institute as composing major, been drawing over 10yrs, and a film geek read books about writing scenario. But yeah, still which the most passionate are Game design and Game narrative areas. I believe games have quite different narrative terms compared to other story mediums because events arent't always pre-fixed by creators. So I also have been studying behavioral science and researching the frame of games. Now I'm working on the scenario and character concepts for the game I'm making on my own except that programming. Hope I could finish it by the end of this year.
Happy to see the people passionate on the same as I am. Lonely not to be there but studying all on my own.
