Got a sub from me mate, love the videos. Id love to install one of these in my car my only concern is some tramp smashing my window to steal something hardly of any value to anyone
How is the boot time, you stated 30 seconds, but it seems less in the video. I'm rocking the B5303, and I love it, mainly because. - Simple UI - Fast boot (3 - 5 seconds) - Fast Android Auto link (either wireless or wired in the integrated USB) - Really cheap (50€ and can be had with a camera) - Integrated speaker is great if being used for GPS navigation What I don't like as much - No bluetooth audio (only FM or aux) - Noisy aux output (had to get an adapter that god rid of the noise) - Integrated USB is really low current and barely holds charge on phone
I cut it the boot time in the video. It’s not the quickest. But feature rich for the price. Even the fm out was surprisingly free of noise at average volumes
Quick question. If I used this for CarPlay but the phone is connected to the car stereo via Bluetooth does that mean the steering wheel controls _should_ still be able to control the phone?
In theory, yes that is how you get around it. However, with most of these units, connecting your phone to the car's original radio often causes issues with playback speed.

Great review but what about phone calls on Carplay? Is there a built in mic or is it using the car's mic over bluethooth? Is there any echo?
This is a really good question and he even respond 🤦🏻♀️

Hi I'm wondering does it act like a parking camera with lines and warning noise like others? What's the difference if any
Thanks in advanced
@@dank6045 yes it does but need to wire the red wire into the reverse light so it’ll work
@@SpyderLEE thanks for the response wondering if you would sell your unit i have same ford as you mate
Will you stop calling a fiesta crap
I hated that car. I gave it to the dealers for 100 quid just to get rid of it when I bought the new car.

Tidy bit of kit Lee, will probably get one for the van 👍🏻
Bit clunky in places but cheap enough for what it is.
Please I need you to review joying Android 12 head unit 10.1
I’ll have to look out for it
Is there any import fee you have to pay to get one in the uk ?
I believe they are shipped from a Europe warehouse so dont get any fees. Takes about a week to arrive

How much did the mr2 build cost yoy
I’ve never kept count. Less than it should as I bought most parts used.
