Dylan Kingwell would be an excellent recast for the Jonathan Kent role as in season one Dylan played teenage Clark Kent, he is the same age as and looks like Alex Garfunkel who plays Jordan Kent. They are after all suppose to be twins. It would not be uncommon for the new Jonathan to look like his father at that age. also Dylan is from Canada as is Vancouver

Someone who is willing to take on a one season commitment. I am not sure who that is. Since the CW was bought, and the new owners have stated they are cutting the budget next year to only $9 million dollars, there will be very few scripted shows and mostly reality shows. The Nexstar CEO which owns the CW has already stated this. Really too bad as this new show is a good one.

Superman and Lois is already on the HBO max roster. It has already been said it’s possible the series will make their home there. It’s premature to suggest that the series will only last one more season.

@@bryanross1992 I should have written one more season on the CW. Sure, HBO Max could pick it up except for one problem - David Zaslav. He opposes anything that loses money. WB launched one month before he took over CNN+. He asked for the business plan. They presented it saying it would show a profit in ten years. He said too long and shut it down literally less than two months from launch. He also said it was his goal for the CW to be profitable by 2023-2024. He ordered Mark Pedowitz to slash the budget this year and he did canceling a lot of shows and barely renewing the Flash and Riverdale for final shortened seasons. On top of that, he canceled the nearly finished Batgirl for HBO Max saying it won’t make money and he wants a ten year plan instead for the DC universe. No more “here is a good idea for a show “ and launching it. So sure it might go to HBO Max, or Pedowitz because of Zaslav is forced to cancel it. Remember when the DC Universe shut down and HBO Max took over its properties, it passed on Stargirl giving the CW full control. That does not bode well for it picking up anything.

@@Buc_Stops_Here It sadly seems that all the good shows we had this last decade from the cw is coming to an end. Sure not all the seasons of those shows were the best but I think that they were very good. The flash was a good show so sad to see it en like other show green arrow and stuff. But it seems that the ce is getting a complete remake.

@@Noneofurbussniess I agree. One thing I did not mention above is the CW stated last week that the budget for the 2023-2024 season will drop to $9 million so they can make a profit. Superman and Lois cost $7 million last year. There will be no "arrowverse" shows left after this year - guaranteed. I am going to enjoy it for what is left of it.

@@Buc_Stops_Here I know I got to find another show to look up to. And also the show is so good they shouldn’t drop the budget they show raise it. I do know that there’s project to think of. But they need to give it time. Superman and líos became just as successful as the flash that need to give it time to show profit. something there not good at is waiting.
