Well I know many Karen's who act like a Karen. Entitled. white privileged women yelling at people in stores, especially people of color.
This trend is still hurting people with the name. Not very compassionate. Names don't need to be used as insults.
@@chrisallclips Hurt happens inside of an adult, not caused by what others say (proven by science, when someone is emotionally upset it’s caused by their own thoughts, feelings, & reactions, which leads to chemicals in their body causing reactions like anger, sadness, etc), it’s their choice of whether they’re hurt by it or not hurt by it. Another fact that proves this, is that some people are “hurt” and others are not by being called a “Karen” or having the name “Karen”. It depends on the adult having control over their own thoughts, feelings, & behaviors, you can’t blame others for that, unless they call a child a name.
Children are different, though, due to the way their brain works for learning purposes, as they absorb what they’re told due to not having barriers in their brain until a certain age - but still, most children know that when a person calls them a name, it has everything to do with the person doing it, it’s not anything to do with them.
I was raised by Karen, but I was not raised by *A* Karen, thankfully.

Yes this happened,there was this boy in building i live in (its an apartment) he had anger issues and use to hit people who anger him so me and my friends avoided him. Then apparently he complained to his mom that no one is playing with him so his mom asked us why aren’t we playing with him so we told her that he hits others and said “my angel wouldn’t hit anyone!” But we had proof:someone with a black eye and then she said and i quote “that’s just make up! You are bullying my angel and hitting him!” So the black eyed person splashed water on his eye and it dint come off and a girl and her friends came up and said “ma’am with all due respect i have recorded a video of your son hitting someone and played it she saw and the look of terror on her face made me so happy I muttered under my breath”that’s what you get! And then she took her son and ran away that’s the last I’ve ever saw of them

My first exposure to the "Karen" phenomenon was a story about a lady named Karen, who took the house and kids from some guy around 2019. You know, right about the time all these articles and videos started popping up, but if the ladies of Buzzfeed want to pretend it started 15 years ago, I'm sure that's less likely to offend the actual Karens.
Racism is the new trend these days. I mean it’s trendy to be racist. I mean to certain races.
I work in a “fancy” restaurant and I swear to god they have the most Karen’s. It disgusts me of how an adult can act so childish. Remember people to discipline your kids so they don’t become Karen’s.
A lot of these kinds of people have grown up in an environment where they are at least middle class if not higher than that. Here's a short list of things they've never done themselves: carry 60 lb of equipment as well as a rifle for 25 miles or more on foot, no help. Any kind of Sanitation work. Carrying 50 lbs of equipment and a stuffy respirator while putting out fires in a burning building. Agricultural work. Pretty much anything from Dirty Jobs with Mike Rowe. And many others...
My Edits: I noticed you didn't complain about rude and aggressive MEN, who certainly exist in greater numbers. People figure it's OK for men to misbehave in patriarchal societies. It's only women, especially older women, who violate social norms for submissive behavior in females who get labelled "Karens".

It all came about because I was telling my mom about a b*tch a school one day and she had one of them Laqueshaneshtria names. So, when it came time to tell the story my mom asked what the chick's name was I was like... " What was it Tyquesha? Laquasia? Tyquaisha? F*ck I don't know, let's just call her Quita!".............. and it stuck. I never saw this as a race or "identity" thing. Kind of weird that it's being molded that way. I personally come from a latino community and trust me, we got Karens all over. And they are as latino as they come. It's not a race/ethnicity/religion/oppression/privilege thing. It's an entitlement issue. And lack of basic respect.

Yeah, the lady with the bread. The problem was she was not direct. Tell her she is no longer allow here and to leave before I call the police to have you removed. Do not just passively move to the next person. Tell the Karen to leave. This a private business and we reserve the to remove you for the safety of others and ourselves.
I saw a video of some waiter being rude. I would immediately ask for the check or leave if not served yet. I even purposely write in 0 for a tip to let them know they were horrible. People put up with too much $#!+. There is always another customer or store. Do not empower these people.

Yes these Americans are sadly very soft, and this girl doesn't have the business sense. I always adapt to the clients when I am on service. Show her rapidly the bread, say what's in it, the composition . Ask if they agree with it. Stay collected (as always). And boom, a satisfied client and you unlocked maturity points. Some teenagers really aren't mature for real life jobs, and I say that as a teenager.

At the beach I was with my friend, we were bringing a game called Kan Jam (it’s basically a frisbee game where you gotta get the frisbee into these big 'cans') down to the beach. So to get down to the beach you gotta walk on these barely wide board walk ways. We were carrying card board boxes filled with the Kan jam stuff in them. Karen comes by, sloppily presses her cheap mask to her face and says rudely “you know you could’ve moved!” And pulls her arm closer to herself trying to fake cringe at the fact we were on the same board walk as her. She had the haircut and everything, even worse her son was there and looked so embarrassed. She also could clearly see we were trying to press against one of the railings as much as we could with big cardboard boxes in our hands.

I'm a white afrodescendant with Asperger's syndrome in South América and miraculously survived the same Karen twice, in 2015 and 2018. I'm still heavily traumatized. Karens in my country are about 40 and call the 911 on you if you are disabled, poor, brown, a woman over 50 and/or live alone with a cat. My cat died from the stress. My family believed Karen. I'm chronically ill from stress and fear. She ruined my life.
