Kathryn I was so happy today that I finally managed to take both classes! The level is slightly more difficult than my local class but at the same level of my Paris class so I was able to follow and I was able to show boyfriend that I can do the splits (sorry, I know it's silly, but I had to call him in to hold the chairs for the bar stretches). It's such a treat to be able to do this in confinement I cannot begin to tell you how happy this video has made me. Thank you so much!
this is such a treat! You look so happy in the intro, and I love hearing the encouraging feedback Chris gives to your wonderful dancer throughout the class so I can focus too! I never thought about how sometimes this is missing from online classes. It really helps!

I have always loved your videos and was looking for a ballet barre warm up today and found Christopher Selllars, It was a great class. I have known Christopher since he was born, yes Im really old, he reminds me so much of his father and I still take classes with Mr. Sellars from time to time. Love the whole family. Thank you.
Mr. Sellers explained the combinations very clearly and Ella executed them so well. I love that he tells you what foot you should be on and how to close, and all those little "in between" steps that are so essential (especially in video format when you don't get as clear visual as a live class). He never just does the combination at whatever tempo and goes, "And a one-two-three-four...got it? Whatever. Cue music." Thank you for uploading!
Christopher is an amazing teacher! I would love to see more classes. They will really be helpful for me since I don’t have the best technique😅 Love you both and thank you🥰
Because of the quarantine there are so much ballet workouts on RUclips and I try to do as much of them as possible and so far I enjoyed yours the most! I do the barre everyday since published and today I started the centre work and it's wonderful! Thank you for amazing classes!

Watching this helped me learn technique, such as telegraphing and maintaining balance on both the left and right sides. I would watch again to focus on memorizing the combination.
This is a great class! My main issue with online classes is that I need the combination called out during the combination as well. Not just at the beginning. My memory isn't good enough to just hear it once 🤣 This was great, thank you 😊

I thought these two videos were great! I’d love to have Chris as a teacher. He is so clear putting forth his ideas and demonstrating. Two recommendations: wireless microphones and more cameras to allow mid-level shots and closeups. Thanks!
Just wondering, why closeups? I personally think the whole body shots are great as they are without unnecessary shots that cut the legs or body off, keeping it simple but clear and efficient as to knowing what to do :)
YES! KATYY! We definitely need a beginner class. I came back to ballet 3 years ago after 6 years of not doing anything dance/fitness related and, oh boy, did i have cramps during my first class back. I've improved since then but I still haven't considered my self good in terms technique, strength and flexibility. It's just hard to gain it all back after i lost it 😅. Love you and your videos as always btw 💜

this was so helpful! I think there are plenty of barres around but center and pointe class is more scarce. Another thing I would love is Balanchine technique
Hi! Something a bit harder than your other "easy barre" but not as hard as the intermediate barre would be wonderful. Especially in terms of the speeds of the battements! Thanks so much for this.
I love that he's trying to be conscious of the fact that most of us are dancing at home with limited space, but cmon man do you really think I have enough space in my studio apartment for a saut de chat? These videos are fantastic, the barre was exactly what I needed but I'm a little salty I don't have room for centre at home lol
I really enjoy and benefit from all of the classes you post! Can you make a video doing a butt workout? That would be so helpful, especially for a lot of my routines, and the type of dancing we do at my studio.
