I am Chinese, a new fan of Tom Daley. Just recently noticed Tom Daley from Paris Olympics. As I learn more about him, the more I found him fascinating. What an incredibly superb diver. Indeed, Chinese divers are of world class. But it is not surprising that how good those Chinese divers could be, as they are trained day in and day out in an environment where almost all teammates are Olympic Gold medalists. In contrast, Tom doesn’t have such a favorable training environment. He stands out on his own, and made himself and his teammate Olympic Gold medalists. What a brilliant achievement. Lot’s of love to Tom Daley❤
What i appreciated most about this is you could totally see both of their complete focus and concentration. Both REALLY wanted it. There are also respectful to each other. Well done by both.
Probably the best diving competition ever of all times, no one faltered. Both Tom & Chen pushed each other to perfection! I would probably want both to receive the Gold Medals!
@@noahwanzer490 this time but he chokes when it's the epitome of competition....a synchro title is great but that doesnt show for his individual career.....this was the highlight of his solo career...meh!! Lol

The best of the best footage of world-class diving competition! I have watched this video more than five times, and my amazement at these two superb divers (both of whom are Olympic gold medalists) never diminishes!
Chen won Olympic gold the year before. Tom didn’t even make it to the finals. Just goes to show how Tom just unfortunately had a bad day at the olympics and that hard work pays off. Unbelievable Edit: Tom also got higher points than Chen did at Rio!

@@arcadeplayer9804 The fact is that scores should be almost completely objective but it looks like some/many judges prefer to judge also considering the name of the diver and his/her country.
I must admit they are both talents, I am Chinese, but I would say D is a little bit better than Chen in the first three rounds, their performances are quite similar in the last three rounds.

Did you manage to spot them in the crowd? I thought the lady that the camera showed could be his mother, but i cant see Lance anywhere- and hes haed to miss.
@@entersachan5426 chen won gold in 2 events in Rio while Tom didnt qualify because he sucked and was inconsistent.....there was a huge improvement in his diving from 2016 to 2017.....and by 2020.....they weren't real factors individually, TD is the king of Bronze.....Aisen is the Golden Boy.....but everything that goes up must come down.
This is what sports is all about. When you lose to a better opponent be grateful they are there to push you. They make you better. They were both awesome.

The judges marked him a little up, also his dives were not as difficult as Chen's. Chen should have been the champion.

They really did go in the finals of tokyo 2020. In 10m pair. Tom daley won gold and Chen Aisen won silver .The competition was so though.
