My brother and I actually gave up on Hard Mode; I couldn't even get past Tile Driver.
It eventually came to the point where it just wasn't worth it...

The comparison between Minigame Island and Minigame Coaster is night and day.
Minigame Island was from the case of First Game-itis, but the CPU difficulty remained consistent, plus you could theoretically skip worlds and then come back to them~.
Minigame Coaster not only requires you to play multiple times, but frustrating minigames are pushed on the worst difficulty, in which the CPUs can mash faster than humanly possible.
Congrats, Vernias! I could never get through his gauntlet as a kid! Some of the mini-games you just had to get a little lucky to win! I still kind of wish Mario Party Superstars had more single-player content like this mode!
