Tsukishima. I love his powers, and how he mentally tortured my boi Ichigo. I'm a firm believer in that attacking the mind and spirit is more potent then attacking the body, which he did masterfully. He's also really handsome honestly, reminded me of Old-Man Zangestu. I just wish we got a smidge bit more backstory, just a nice foundation to tie it together. Though, again you could debate whether the Fullbringers were really villains, in which I'd say they weren't. So if we're going for Reilly villainous, devilish characters, it's be Yhwach. His overral fear of death is profound to me, as I constantly have existential thoughts. I'm not really afraid of death, and I'd agree with Aizen that a world without it is no world. I just understand his motives the best, even if I don't agree with them. He's not my favourite final boss though, that was Aizen. I was yapping...
I think what makes bleach villains truly stand out are the groups they rule over. Because on their own none of them are particularly stand out, but with their soldiers, and the character interaction and writing that comes with them, they become something truly noteworthy.
I think Jin Kariya- even though he’s from the controversial Bount arc- sums up Bleach villains well. They may have sympathetic reasons for their actions, the actions they take for revenge- cost them their empathy and make them cruel
Bleach or how the most prodigious among all souls and the literal abrahamanic indoeuropean god had to fight a highschooler, and still lose. man i love Kubo
I wish that ginjo did more in the TYBW. Since hes a soul king canadate that means his soul is part hollow. So not only can the quincy not steal his bankai. Hollows are poison to quincies. So Ginjo should easily be able to solo the sternritters
Tokinada Tsunayashiro tops them all. He gleefully wanted to cause potential conflicts between Spirits and Humans by revealing the existence of the former to humanity and then just enjoy the potential chaos. He's an unhinged psychopath of the worst order nurtured by the corruption and immunity that blankets the nobility.
Aizen, Ginjo and Yhwach were all very well written. That's something Naruto had as well, where the villains weren't just evil because, they had goals, and experiences that shaped how they grew up.
Yes Bleach has the best villains in Anime & Manga of all time like Aizen, Kariya, Muramasa, Tsukishima, Ginjou and Yhwach defienitily Aizen and Ginjou are my favourite Bleach villains because Aizen is like the god of Bleach turned into a monster and more powerful only being in the Chair-prison what's insane and Ginjou because he's the first Substitute Shinigami before Ichigo! Who made Ginjou's a Soul reaper? It's really interesting to think that only villains makes Bleach awesome! Aizen has finally returned: We are so back! 🔥🔥
Bleach gets so much hate but it's such a well thought out Manga, easily one of the most well paced Anime(the filler was the downfall) I have watched since DragonBall. The designs of characters was so great. I kept on saying bleach was my favorite since the big 3 started all that years ago. I am so glad I never read the manga because the TYBW is just peak anime. And I pick up on alot of things. I remember in Soul Society arc, characters being afraid of Unohana. And I never knew why, and only found recently that she was the original Kenpachi was such a great pay off. Kubo such a great writer. Also how old man Zangetsus name was blacked out when Ichigo asked him his name only to find out now that it was Ichibei. I watched a video where it said that in Naruto the original story was that the 4th hokage was actually made tp be the strongest character and was later changed to make the 1st hokage the strongest which I think is true as when orichimaru resurrected the first two hokages the 3rd wasn't phased until he saw the coffin of the 4th Hokage and stopped the resurrection immediately. He also fought the 1st and 2nd with ease while fighting orichimaru. Which makes me question the whole of Naruto for just adding things in afterwards and changing the story.
I think the flaw that keeps Bleach main villains from being perfect- is the sheer deus ex machina needed to undermine them or in Ginjo’s case-he was outclassed. While they start off strong, they’re undermined by the narrative even more than the usual anime main villain
Yep. Very generic shonen trope that only truly skilled mangaka can overcome. We see this flaw in Madara Uchiha needing an entire narrative rewrite, in Gilgamesh when he fought Shirou, and.... Yhwach (by nature of Kubo being forced to finish the series too fast) given how the fight ended, though if Kubo expands on the haxx that Ichigo has in his True Bankai (maybe negation of Fate itself as some fans speculate, as any attempt of The Almighty to rewrite the future is null and void and would explain why it couldn't save Yhwach from Ichigo despite conjuring up a vision and future of his Bankai being destroyed), then I could see Kubo salvaging this villain's end and arc in particular.
Hello, how are you again DBZiram, well in my opinion about all the best and worst each Bleach villain but the only best villains of the Bleach arcs are Sosuke Aizen, Ginjo kubo, Yhwach and Tokinada Tsunayashiro although this villain never appeared in the anime but Yes, it is mentioned in the manga novel the bleach arc, cfyow, after the events of the final arc, tybw, but it surprises me that there are better villains in the bleach universe, so I,II tell you. I am very grateful for all the villains who faced our situations our protagonist, if nothing else to tell you, I send you a big greeting, thank you.💕🤟⚔️
Aizen, Yhwach, Ginjo, Ulq and Grimmjow is a crazy lineup. Best in anime/manga? I have to disagree. I just think Naruto’s lineup with Madara, Pain, Obito, Itachi and Orochimaru is better. Aizen u could argue is better than madara, but compare the rest of the top 5 from each show, and even the villain groups with the Akatsuki and Espada, Naruto clears. Bleach is def #2 tho.
Imo I think Bleach and Naruto are close when it comes to villains, with Bleach being slightly superior. Also, I feel Byakuya is a better character and villain than Itachi and the both the Espada and Akatsuki are heavily carried by three of their members with both the groups being overall solid.
HXH can give both series a run for their money when it comes to awesome villains. Phantom Troupe, Hisoka, Illumi and the Chimera Ants are all great for one reason or another.
