I have a winchester 290 old 22. I shot it and didnt go off and was like what the heck and then like idk seconds maybe 5 idk. went off. It scared the crap out of me. I could of had it aimed anywhere. I did take it apart and fixed it but lesson learn or I probably already did that but for sure be careful where you aim. And that cheap shotgun is like the same way.
@@John-8692 it was gun fault in my case. I tore it apart and cant say exactly what i did but seen worn spot and bent it back in place and working great since.
You have been such an influence on my life. I just bought my first bow and got a shotgun last Christmas. Thank you for always posting this amazing content.
Don't know if this has already been mentioned. Different shells brands & even shot sizes of the same brand will pattern differently with different guns. Every gun is different - even the exact same model from the same manufacturer. Its always best to get some big pieces of cardboard & pattern the loads you will be using at different distances. With that cheaper shotgun that fired unexpectedly; is it possible your finger was squeezing the trigger when you shut the gun? That is how some guns are designed to work. Ususally you need to pull the trigger each time you want the gun to fire, but not always. I know the Ithica Model 37 pump worked like that. You could hold down the trigger & pump the action & the gun would keep firing. Saw it happen to a friend & it was exactly the same as what happened with the rabbit. He fired once, lowered the gun & cycled the action and the gun fired because he was still squezzing the trigger..
Unless you already have a big following like he does, shorts are a great way to get eyes from new subscribers. My best short on RUclips has almost 250k views now! I make hunting videos when I can buy of course no one watches them 😂 I have a catch and cook dove video, let me know what you think!
Hey dude great video as always. Since you have the opportunity to hunt squirrels so often I’d love to see you try a specific way of cooking it. It seems your squirrel usually come out chewy and or burned lol. Quarter out the squirrel, get beef broth, carrots, celery and onions. Cut the veggies up into bite size pieces and put it all on the stove covered for like atleast 4 hours (set and forget, you can’t over due it) and you’ll have the tastiest, most tender squirrel you ever tasted!
I have a $1100 Winchester Sx4 and it’s really nice I mainly just dove, squirrel, and duck hunt with it. It’s one of my favorite shotguns that I’ve hunted with ever. I’ve heard a lot of good stuff about Benelli so good luck!👍
Do a video on a cheap thermal rifle scope vs an expensive thermal rifle scope. Something like an Amazon thermal srifle scope vs an ATN thermal scope which is around 1200. The cheap one is around 300. Do some predator or hog hunting with them at night with your FX wildcat or your .17 HMR. Would be sick!
i had a Remington 410 gauge pump action , never missed fired , very accurate. sometimes the brand of shells are not very good quality. try a different brand.
Keep in mind you’re comparing a break action to semi automatic shotgun not to mention the break action has a shorter barrel compared to the semi automatic shotgun, a lot of the times a longer barrel will have better recoil control but all in all a well made break action will always have its place in hunting just for the fact there’s a cult like following around them, me personally idc what type of firearm it is, 9mm, .357 magnum, .22lr, 410, 12ga, .223 I love ‘em all I remember one year when I was on vacation for the 4th of July visiting family me and my cousin went to a barbecue type thing and a guy had his AR out there and that was the first time I shot one it was fun as hell and cemented myself in the firearm world, I hate saying guns because it’s overused by the media so the technical term is firearm/firearms and once I got to shoot a 9mm handgun loaded with perfecta 115gr fmj I loved it then I got to shoot a Rossi .357 mag loaded with perfecta 158gr which I loved even more because even though the ammo was bigger the trade off was that it was more controllable compared to the 9mm which has a metal slide coming back, only firearm I have is an old marlin model 60 .22lr that I got from my late great grandfather.
That first random misfire is a good representation of why you should always have the gun pointed at the ground even when loaded unloaded whatever just keep it pointed at the ground.
@blockethoutdoors if you shoot a hex screw with a cylindrical top out of a .22 air rifle it’s stupidcpowerful, punched straight through my copper pan from 25 yards. (Decently accurate too)
Like your videos but this one was a little scary. You had an accidental discharge with your cheap shotgun but I also noticed that at 5:56, you loaded your Benelli with the safety off and proceed to walk with the loaded gun with the safety still off. Not sure if this was just an editing issue or you should be more careful with a loaded weapon.
Amazing Video, you are seriously talented, I am inspired to post on both SEMO Fishing, My Fishing Channel, and SEMO Hunting, My hunting channel from YOU! Keep up the amazing work.
I owned a Benelli M2 and WAS NOT IMPRESSED with it! Sloppy tolerances, and developed a firing pin issue after less than 10 boxes. Their cheapor Franchi line is actually simpler and more reliable with identical build quality. That said, I like my Berretta and Browning better than both of them.
You need to feel around the meat obviously but it is almost like popping a pimple. You will feel the pressure around the area and just work it out. Also you can cook the meat and sometimes it will come out then. Hope this helps!

I think that cheap shotgun is the worst gun I have seen in all of your videos. I bow down to you in respect for hunting with it.
Guarantee that cheap shotgun would be the best if you had no other gun. The best gun you have is the one you have on you.
Dude the fact that your able to hunt just about every game out there is awesome and I’m jealous
