Wow!!! I'm the original owner of the ball, and I almost fell off the couch when I saw the video on RUclips!!! The ball was a high school graduation present, and I'm so happy that Aaron is the new owner because he will appreciate it as I did!!! That ball was a big part of my life, and I'm honored that Arron added it to his bowling ball collection!!! I will watch the last shot on the video again and again because that is the exact line that I played!!! I want to thank both of you for making a video that I will cherish forever!!!
That was my dad's ball until he donated it to them a few months ago!!! So happy to see it back in action. Started bowling with my dad when I was 8..now I'm 51 and he's 80! 😊
That's back when fit just meant that your fingers fit into the holes. I was surprised that Aaron didn't shoot 300 again. I think he sandbagged to make you feel better.
Fantastic! That old ball did not realize what it was capable of! Both of you guys probably threw it better than it was thrown by the original owner. Kind of him to provide the ball for this entertaining video.
I'm the original owner, and i averaged in the 180's with that ball. Not great, but I was high average in my bowling league. I will treasure this video!!!
What is the reason you do not want your flare lines over the finger and thumb holes? Is it just because you're losing traction every time it happens, so your shots will be less consistent? Or something else entirely?
How about plugging the ball and fitting it for both of your hands one game at a time? Using original hole locations was not fair to your amazing bowling abilities. You don’t have to do that , but I feel I know both of you can bowl much better if the ball was drilled for your hands. It was fun to watch anyway.
So the pro shop bowler averages 254? Either the pattern is easy at that particular bowling center, the shop owner is beyond phenom of a bowler or just a regional PBA bowler.
If true, that ave confirms that bowling is a joke of a sport. Back in my youth, 200 used to be spoke of as bowling par as a great golfer can average par on the golf course. And it was a hard average to get to.
There's a storm staffer on my league that right now that has an average of 252. He's planning to go on tour next year. I should also note this house averages 5-6 pins LOWER than the other house in town
A couple years before Covid a guy in our league had the high average for our state that year at 246. That was 90+ games. I know it's not quite 254 but it's getting close.
Awesome video guys and it was cool to see old bowling balls still killing it years later and still competitive with modern tech bowling balls 🎳 even though it wasn’t drilled to your specs you both did great, I just recently did a bowling video for Halloween and did ok considering I didn’t bowl for a month which my scores for 3 games was 94,93 and 110
@@kleincepts that’s very cool to hear that, I bet you miss rolling it down the lanes but happy to see that 220 and friend appreciated it for what it is and was, I was very nervous to go bowling in a Halloween costume but I fulfilled a request from voters on my community posts with ok results and might do another video on actual Halloween

I loved the video myself
I’m convinced Aaron could throw a bag of potato’s and make it look good🙂
No doubt!
I kinda wanna see it now that you put it in my head 😂

When are you going to do Packy’s 50 strike challenge with Forrest?
Cuz 220 is actually cool unlike packy Why would he downgrade his channel, might aswell bowl with D tang to 🙄
Aaron is still my hero. Wish I could be half as cool as that man. STUD!!!
I recently saw a Wilson bowling ball for the first time ever at the center i work at. Never knew they made bowling balls.
That's back when fit just meant that your fingers fit into the holes. I was surprised that Aaron didn't shoot 300 again. I think he sandbagged to make you feel better.
I'm the original owner, and I was rooting for a 300, but just seeing the video turned out to be a 400!!!
I’m convinced Aaron could cash at any PBA tournament but has better things to do lol. 😂
Most definitely, anyone averaging 250+ could shoot decent on all oil patterns and alleys.

@@kleincepts Actually very good average with that ancient ball! Did you bowl on wood lanes? Miss the old days!
Any car guys here? Aaron gives me Brent Leivestad vibes and I love it
He kinda does!
Yeah no kidding!
"Can 220 ever win on his own channel"
You'd likely beat me lmao
Cool video talk tech bowling bowling ball
For halloween you should drill a pumpkin and throw that
Just watching that, made my fingers hurt.
I'm the original owner of the ball. It fit me fine, and served me well!
I have my uncle's old ball but it has more black than that one. Early 60's.

Honestly expected a 7-10 there when you talked about shutting the door

Aaron didn’t want to plug it because he wanted to keep it original for some reason. Old guy brain 🧠
@@220avg o k . Understood.
Thank you for replying.
Doesn't matter much if you don't use your 👍
I'm the original owner, and I believe Aaron didn't redrill it was to keep the ball authentic.
I've been bowling 2 handed since 2017 but I wish I could bowl as good 2 handed as you do! 😂
The fart sounds are genuinely funny to me
Lol, that's the year I was born😁
Particle cover stock Ball challenge
Granada used to make great cars!!
Are you and Forrest gonna do the 50 strike challenge from Packy?
I hope not
209 average bowler
More WoW sound effects plz
crazy ball....Hi Mike Hi Aaron
HI JEN
And they say "Cheaters never prosper."
If a 60 year old ball can do that then ( WHY ) do we need all these new bowling balls ?…. Because they need to sell more balls !……
I'm the original owner of the ball, and it's a very different game today.
@@kleincepts Yes it has and I’m not sure it’s all for the good !……
That ball is the same age I am. It looks better, though. 😢
I'm the original owner of the ball, just turned eighty, and I still look better!😄
Now add real wood lanes and real wood pins....4 pounders sound good.....and let's see how low the scores get.
Thankyou 😢that's my age😮!😂I have my moments 😅Rolled a 220 with 2 opens😮
My son I taught the gist. His high is a 289 mine back in day 279😢 🎉😅All good!
This feels like a dad destroying his son

no one is a 254 avg bowler, stop with the trolling pls michael
There's a 261 average bowler
He averaged 254 for a league season. He’s probably consistently a 240 average
Packy Hanrahan. Avg is around 260 in league.
