Great coverage Darcy. I like the fact that you got the passing freights into the mix as well. You did something that I don't see a lot of in railfan videos and that is the panning of the scene from a fair way back. I chuckled when you captured Mr.Pate on the Albury platform in the final sequence with the southbound grain train. On the other hand, I gasped with horror at the idiot in the white hatchback at 5.27 who appeared to be on the gang access road inside the rail corridor. Hope someone reported that clown to the police.

I think you’ll find at 5:27 that is a bit of an illusion. I see what you mean; but if you give it a few seconds the car will disappear behind the train. It’s just that you can see it from underneath the tanker as it’s speeding along.
All in all thank you though. I thought I’d try things from a different perspective. That’s sometime I always aim to do. Go places and angles that most rail fans wouldn’t usually think about. It’s all about trial and error to see what works and what’s doesn’t.

Great Video! I saw the transfer on the Friday and the 8:30, 10:15 and 12:30 shuttles on Saturday
