👉 Just a few notes and Dimash's angelic voice... and people all over the world melt away. An angel does not need words to convey his message... Everyone understands! I have never heard anything more beautiful.
This is a magical new classic masterpiece that people are sure to hear in 300 years.
For Christians, Mary is the Mother of God. But Mary is also revered in other religions: in Judaism she is considered the greatest daughter of the people, in Islam she is the mother of the prophet (not God's son) Jesus.
The Ave Maria (Eng.: Hail Mary) is one of the most commonly said prayers in Christianity.
A Muslim and a Jew created a new grandiose masterpiece. It needs no words and therefore a prayer for all people in this world... breathtaking, touching and simply beautiful.
When Dimash asked Master Krutoy to compose a new Ave Maria for him, he imagined an angel... Dimash said in an interview... and the two are overearthly wonderful. I'm lost for words.
For me, Dimash is the difference between the music business and true art.
Over the past 15 years, the soprano and producer Andrea Chudak has collected over 200 compositions 'Ave Maria' from all eras of music history.
A compilation of 68 selected 'Ave Maria' versions gives 'a striking overview of a repertoire that can hardly be grasped in its entirety', says Andrea Chudak. 'From Gregorian chant to arrangements of successful folk songs, to occasional works by composers who have been successful in other genres, and contemporary pieces..."(operetta-researchcenter)
Wow, 68 Ave Maria settings from 7 eras... but now 69! I mean, this song is on the same high level as Schubert's or Vavilov's (Caccini's) Ave Maria... also beyond all spirituality, just wonderful music.
    * Igor Krutoy ( piano), *1954 in Ukraine SSR. He lives and works in Moscow/Russia. He is singer, a world- famous composer and music titan in Russia (billionaire). His family lives in the US. Krutoy came out of retirement to write songs for Dimash. The maestro and Dimash have been working together from time to time since 2018. They are friends and have a father-son relationship.
    Dimash News:
Maestro Igor Krutoy shared the story of the creation of the work 'Ave Maria' for Dimash.
When writing a hit, Krutoy is guided by the Italian principle: every composer is worth exactly what his latest work is worth, which means that all previous successes and achievements do not count.
“On one of the nights, about three months before New Wave, Dimash called and asked if I could write 'Ave Maria' for him and he explained that he wanted to sing something in that style... Coincidentally, I had a spare evening, and I happily sat down at the piano and, inspired by the memory of the Italian formula of responsibility, worked until I achieved the desired result. It took me a few days to 'let' the composition 'lay' in my ears, soul and heart, and sent it to Dimash, who replied literally within half an hour that: ‘This is exactly what I wanted to hear', said Krutoy. It is not without reason that his friend and teacher, the maestro Igor Krutoj, predicts: “Believe me, in the future the world will be at Dimash’s feet.” (www)

The top note in this composition is an F6. And the ending is a sustained C6 crescendo - de crescendo. For a man to be able to do this is so very rare and unique. Dimash is a one in a billion vocalist. We won't see the like of him again in our lifetime. He has been training for over 20 years in each vocal range to be perfect at all ranges. He is the most exciting singer i've ever heard in my life. Every new song he performs is revelation in technique and delivery. The guy on the Piano is russian composer Igor Krytoy and he came out of retirement on hearing Dimash.Igor composes most of the songs Dimash performs. And Dimash is a compsers dream because he has a 7 octave range and two semi tones at last count.

If you want to hear an example of Dimash's whistle register, watch Drunken Concubine + Diva Dance (combo song duet) with Li Yugang ruclips.net/video/cFVXPJKGL4g/видео.html (can't find the official video but this one has English subs and is at least of good quality). Li Yugang is a highly revered professional male Chinese Opera singer (traditional Chinese opera has the male singing the female roles).
I believe Dimash hits an F#7 in this one. So far his highest whistle note in a live performance is a D8 (Gakku Festival in 2017 in Unforgettable Day in front of an audience of 150,000) but he used to sing his whistle notes more often for fun when he was much younger. He was heavily criticized by Kazakh music judges that he quit "showing off" his whistle register. He only does it as a rare treat for his Dears once in a while.

Another great reaction and analysis. Dimash's rendition of "Ave Maria" is one of the most beautiful pieces of music I have ever listened to. This rendition touches the very core of my soul. I have watched this performance countless times since it premiered, and no matter how many times I have already watched it, I am still moved to tears the moment I hear the first note sung by Dimash's angelic voice.
This was the final of three songs Dimash premiered in August 2021 during his appearance at the annual New Wave music competition in Sochi, Russia. He once again performed with Igor Krutoy on the piano who composed this rendition for Dimash; it is not a cover. Someone stated that this is a vocalise interpretation of Schubert's "Ave Maria" opening vocals, and that the piece uses three bars from the original composition and changes the fourth note to a higher note. Whereas a classical musician on RUclips (@SirHairless), pointed out that his is more of an interpretation of the composition of Vladimir Vavilov, often misattributed to G. Caccini.
Someone explained that Dimash called Igor Krutoy with an idea for a brand-new interpretation of Ave Maria and asked him to compose the music. Dimash is said to love Gregorian choral music, which is where he got the inspiration. Igor composed the music, after which Dimash conceived these exquisite vocals. Someone else likened it to "a leap from "dark to light" which is the same contrast as Dimash's outfit (dark to light)!"
The last note Diamsh sings is known as "Messa di Voce," the singing of a gradual crescendo and decrescendo on a long sustained note. It is considered one of the most challenging vocal exercises, and voice experts regard it as the ultimate test for any singer, a skill even the most experienced vocalists rarely ever master.
There have been at least 11 other compositions titled "Ave Maria" and over 40 different renditions of these versions over the past roughly 200 years. The version most people are likely familiar with is Schubert's 1825 composition or the 1853 Gounod composition, based on a famous Bach keyboard prelude written 137 years earlier. Now we can add Dimash’s rendition to the list. Here is a list of different composers/compositions:
    Ave Maria - F. Schubert (1797-1828)
    Ave Maria - C. Gounod (1818-1893)
    Ave Maria - J. S. Bach (1685-1750)
    Ave Maria - G. Verdi (1813-1901)
    Ave Maria - E. Elgar (1857-1934)
    Ave Maria - P. Mascagni (1863-1945)
    Ave Maria - J. Brahms (1833-1897)
    Ave Maria - L. Cherubini (1760-1842)
Ave Maria - V. Vavilov (1925-1973). See note below*
    Ave Maria - S. Lindley (1948- )
    Ave Maria - N. Skipper (1951- )
    Ave Maria - I. Krutoy (1954- )
*This is the famous composition of Ave Maria, misattributed to G. Caccini (1551-1618). It was actually composed by Russian composer Vladimir Vavilov in the early 1970s. He was forced to attribute most of his music to someone other than himself because any religious composition at that time, especially one invoking the Virgin Mary, was criminal under the communist dictatorship governing the Soviet Union.

That's what you get when you enter music college at age 5 and they spend 20 years training your vocal cords. "Unforgettable Day" at Gakku was his highest note ever. D8

Whistle: Unforgettable Day. He hits a D8. Oh, and It's a Dimash original song. React to that then Stranger for some even lower notes than you've heard already!

Once you actually hear Dimash whistle you'll understand why nothing in this performance contained whistle register. Dimash typically doesn't flip into his whistle until he gets past about F#6. The top note in this performance was F6. His whistle is very distinct.

Very well said. His falsetto just goes insanely high. His whistle tone is very easy to distinguish from his high falsetto notes, I agree.

Yup, his whistle is very obvious when you heard it, you wouldn’t doubt it or even mistake it. It is piercing high 😂 like a kettle in emergency heat.

Yes, to me his whistle is not beautiful like his high head voice, but still amazing!

THANKS for your reactions to Dimash!!!!….. Ave Maria by Igor Krutoy for Dimash….more perfect and surprises us once again, sweet voice and with high notes of madness, he gives us a piece of his soul every time he sings with beautiful modulations, choirs and impressive music, a three Key changes and a beautiful in crescendo (Messa di voce) at the end (F6)… saludos desde México….👏🏻❤️🇲🇽🇰🇿

I have heard Dimash hit whistle notes and they have the shrill of an actual whistle, but it is rare.
I to think he is using whistle twice just before he goes into angel at the end.

It’s interesting to compare his completely buttoned down appearance in white, with his pale, serious, very intense expression and almost priestly vibe in this video to others such as Love is like a Dream where he is in heartthrob mode.
That last exquisite note never fails to pierce my heart. Yes, perfection in singing is attainable and Dimash wants you to enter his world of joy, of inclusion, of divine love. He is an angel brought to Earth to unite us through song. ❤️

Been following Dimash since 2018. He is definitely not in whistle. He is in the sixth octave in this song. Dimash whistle is in the seventh, and yes...eighth octave! The Dears will lead you to some videos with actual whistle notes. Be prepared to be amazed!!

In Love is like a dream you will hear the switch to whistle from his high headvoice, also in the ave maria section. Looking for your next reaction
