Sometimes slapping something together comes out better than fussing and planting, and replanting and fussing for a week. As you said, you set it up for Liam's enjoyment and he seems very happy to see his skrimps, and that's all that matters.

But you should have made two separates tanks! Mixing colours in Neocaridina shrimps will result in grey/white shrimps in the next generations ...
It’s for him not me. These shrimp are just for him to learn to feed.
We must prepare these steps in order before giving to much information and they lose interest.
Just tought that Two tanks are always better than one but understand your reflexion! By the way keep making accents ( like the irish one for instance) on your live streams it s just so fun !
