- After a fantastic carnaval in Recife and a local briefing by Hans Hutzler, a local pilot and Outremer sailor, we sail south along the Brasilian coast. We visit Hans's recommendations of Suape, Porto do Galinhas and Carneiros Beach

Given that you have charts so you can steer safely, have you noticed differences between the charts and reality as far as water levesl? I was just wondering if you have yet to notice sea level rises when you are in tight places like rivers?
